You and I have been long term friends, as you are always welcome in my 10th house, as co-ruler of my chart and nicely aspected. We always had a positive relationship, up until you decided to square one of my most sensitive chart points: my Moon-Neptune-Node connection. I apreciate, in a way, your wake-up call from my Neptune induced day-dreamingness and even the reconsideration of my life goals as suggested by the Nodes. I don't even mind you transiting my 2nd house and shattering my security system. But, seriously, you need to step away from my Moon. Because Moon rules my DC and that is where I draw the line. Ever since you approached her, my love life has been a mess. If I previously complained about being too lonely (thanks to that dreadful old man Saturn staying in the sign right across from yours), I now have too many suitors, so many I can barely keep track of - okay, perhaps your old time pal Jupiter is to blame for their large number, but you're still not off the hook. None of these noble gentlemen, though presumably interested in my romantic whereabouts, has been around long enough for me to consider them a reliable option. You got me all fired up with excitement upon noticing their flirtatious manners towards me, then left me hanging as they vanished into the thin air you love so much. After a couple of months, like a master Houdini that you are, you brought them back out of the blue. Was it something I said? Was I too daring or too shy? Did I wear the wrong dress?! The wrong perfume??! I start my day wishfully thinking about one man and finish it falling in love with another. You got all my friends and family telling me I am too demanding, too much of a spoiled brat unable to settle for just one guy, unwilling to make an effort to work something out with one of them. But I told them it wasn't my doing, it was you, dear Uranus, being the unstable character we all know you are. I see your motion is currently retrograde and I ask you gently to reconsider your conduct towards my DC ruler during your next house calls. I think your attitude at the first dinner visit was wrong, she is willing to work something out with you, if you could just stay still and stick around long enough to taste the desert. So, if you decide to give Moon a break and let her get better acquainted with one of the guys, she promises to be more easy-going and less clingy. Do we have a deal? Love, Your most sincere friend (still), Izo ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |

Wow I have the same moon-Neptune-node thing happening at 25 Gemini. It entered my 7th house as it decided to make a grand cross in my chart. Uranus is freedom, go with the flow Neptune rules my seventh too and moon rules my eleventh. I think I'm at the end of it now and the only things I noticed was a disturbed sleeping pattern a break up,a change of home and alot of traveling. My love life has always been crap so who cares IP: Logged |

Thank you, guys! I felt the need to vent a little. This was frustrating in the beginning, then became annoying and now I find it amusing. Can't possibly say I'm bored. Today I was talking with my Mom on the phone and I told her I've been invited to London by a special somebody. She asked who, I was on the bus and didn't want to give the details at the time, so she started guessing 5 or 6 of the guys she knew were somewhat interested in me. I laughed because none of it was correct. The odd thing is that I am actually considering it, which would be something so unusual for me, not something I would normally do. I hope Uranus will be cooperative with me, if I am willing to meet him halfway. Belgz, I've also been having horrible sleeping patterns, like 30 minutes one night, 11 hours another. I've been quite restless too. Moon also rules my 6th house, Neptune rules my 2nd. Uranus natally is in the 10th, all Earth houses being triggered and my quest for stability out the window. ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. Thanks, Nigel! I might go, if I could just make those voices in my head shut up: what do I really know about the guy? is he truly trustworthy? where would I stay? can I afford it right now (my 2nd house is severely under attack)? what if I get a panic attack on the plane (afraid of heights)? and so on and so forth... Truth is, I might be Uranus's friend, but I am Saturn's pet. And he taught me there are always consequences... ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |

Izo,this absolutely made my morning. a great read. and i will take note of your experiences. i am assuming you are capricorn rising--me too. cardinal moon--me too. i've got moon at 5 aries and that jupiter uranus conjunction is going to conjunct moon very soon. pluto has already squared it. saturn will oppose it (saturn is my old man too. chart ruler AND in the 10th house. i know him all too well.) are you an aquarius too? you said that uranus is your charts co-ruler... if read that if you can predict of figure out what is gonna happen during a uranus transit, then its probably not gonna go down that way. uranus is good gor coming way out of left field. i like em though.i'm an aqua sun with uranus in the 11th. anyhow, best of luck to you. go with the flow. uranus wouldn't have it any other way. and just tell saturn that this fits into your long term goals and he will be quiet i'm sure you'll figure it out IP: Logged |

Wow, it's actually a nice surprise that my open letter to Uranus received such positive reviews! That was unexpected. Hello, Electric!I sensed we have a lot in common too. I'm Aries Sun (trine Uranus), with Cap Asc indeed. I have Aquarius intercepted in my 1st, that is why I consider Uranus as my chart's co-ruler (big boss is still papa Saturn, he's the one who's calling the shots). I don't have cardinal Moon though, it's at 29 Sagittarius. I've already been through the Pluto conjunction a couple of years ago, the Saturn square and now I have to wait for Jupiter and Uranus to finish their number. Hopefully, after that I will finally have some peace, because it's been quite a bumpy ride. If your Moon is at Aries 5, you're still in the eye of the tornado, because all except Saturn will come back to mess with it. Fortunately, at least in my experience, the first transit hit was the hardest, after that it became easier to handle the stress of the conjunction/square. I will have to wait and see if Jupiter and Uranus confirm this. ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |

you are so right about the first being the worst.the first time pluto went across my ascendant? ouch ouch ouch!!! i shaved my head! now pluto and i are the closest of friends. not sure how its square will affect my moon since saturn is involved too. and uranus and jupiter. my moon is about to be in the midst of a pinball game machine. moon rules my 7th house and already my relationship that i thought was over for good has been transformed and reborn. also my concept and view of relationships has been transformed as well. the moon's nodal axis is about to conjunct my ascendant descendant axis. FUN! IP: Logged |

How fitting for a thread about Captain Unexpected. quote: I might go, if I could just make those voices in my head shut up[...] Truth is, I might be Uranus's friend, but I am Saturn's pet. And he taught me there are always consequences...
I suspect Uranus and Saturn are in cahoots. There are always consequences, including of what we don't do. Enjoy your moments! Seize Uranus! IP: Logged |

Did you really shave your head? OMG! I have a couple of free years from Pluto, 3-4 until it squares my Sun and about a decade until it conjuncts Asc. quote: the moon's nodal axis is about to conjunct my ascendant descendant axis. FUN!
I don't remember anything special about it. I'm looking to see if the conjunction to Moon-Neptune-SN will be any different. ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |

Argh, I should have read this half an hour ago, before declining 2 invitations for tonight. Hi, Nicki!I don't know about others, but I check this site: http://www.astro.com/swisseph/swepha_e.htm Just click on the link for the year you're interested in and you will see the planetary positions. Then you will have to do the math and figure out what are your transits for that period. It's quite easy once you get the hang of it. The chart ruler is the ruler of the Ascendant. If you are Aries Asc, your chart ruler is Mars and so on. ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |

Electric, I have Sun at 13 Aries and Asc at 23 Cap. We should get together again in a couple of years and bad-mouth Pluto. Helps to ease off some of the steam. ------------------ Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon. IP: Logged |
