I have it exact.I can say that my parents have been together since they were 16 and they are 48 now. They have always stayed together but their relationship was kinda irritating to me as a child because they would always argue. However I will say that my father was a better influence on me than my mother was. But they did have their problems, especially my mother. But I don't let it affect me. I realize that they had dificult stuff to deal with when they were children themselves... My mom lost her father when she was 16 and my father was the only one there for her... IP: Logged |

nigel,I have Leo Sun opposite Aqua Moon. And yes, I was born when the Moon was full. My parents had a very destructive relationship before I came along, and especially after. Up and down, up and down. They love each other, but can never be together. Both are happily remarried. My relationship with each of them was non-existent, and detrimental to myself, up until this year. I'm en route to slowly trying to heal and patch things up. You have this, yes? IP: Logged |

i have a similar aspect with my sun and moon, they'r square, which is just as hard of an aspect as opposite. my parents split up when i was a toddler and my dad died right after my 12th birthday. i had always felt a certain connection to my dad but i didnt get to live with him which made me severely depressed. after my parents split up i didnt have any father figure even though i have an older brother, but i didnt think of him as a father figure, just an older brother. my mom had one bad relationship after another and none of the guys stayed around long enough for them to make me see them as a father figure. about the closest father figure i had was my best friends father, but after her mom died he changed big time and he lost my respect for reasons i wont say------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

Well I love my parents and like I said they had problems but I still talk to them both and my Dad and I get along great. My Mother is good too but there is always an unspoken awkwardness with her because of my childhood; She was just not a good mother. However it's not like I experienced death or anything that severe, but they had their problems that's for sure. When I was little I was closer to my two best friends who I love more than ever to this day. They were like my real family. IP: Logged |

thanks meta. also, i forgot to mention before, my dad moved out of state after my parents split up so it made my depression worse because i only got to see him twice between them splitting up and him dying, so i'm sure you could imagine my childhood life easily from all of this------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

What signs are both of your Suns/Moons in? And houses? My Sun is in the 9th, Moon in the third. Unless you use equal houses (10th, 4th). IP: Logged |

Where is your ASC?My Sun is in the 9th conjunct the 10th house cusp.. Moon in the 3rd conjunct the 4th house Cusp... The way I feel is that by getting away from where I grew up, I won't experience the same life I had as a child that my mother brought upon me. That makes sense given my Moon/Neptune in Capricorn conjunct the 4th house cusp (Roots) with my Sun in the 9th I have traveled and I feel happy with where my life is now. I'm very happy. IP: Logged |

oh! I just answered this elsewhere!I will copy and paste....... My sun falls in Scorpio, my moon in Taurus. My Dad is Scorpio sun, my Mum Taurus. Growing up my home life was stable and supportive. I was the apple of my fathers eye until I became more independent as a teenager - he struggled with that. My Mum was/is emotionally distant, she demonstrates her love and care in odd and 'practical' ways. I have always been aware of her envy of mine and my Dad's relationship, but I think she would be horrified if she thought I knew. It's difficult to describe it - we are a very close but emotionally distant family. IP: Logged |

My sun opposite moon is a problem. My parents were constantly threatening divorce and getting back together. To say the least, it was a chaotic atmosphere, and I really never got the feeling of having a stable home!IP: Logged |

I have Virgo Sun opposing Pisces Moon exactly. I have a very sensitive nature, and sometimes my parents wish that I could toughen up a bit. I got along better with my mom than my dad. In my childhood, I had to follow my parents' wishes than my own because that was deemed selfish. I also had other issues with them, especially when Mom and I dealt with my dad's alcoholism. That kind of upbringing caused me to be depressed. I eventually learned that I have to take care of my needs first if I want my health to improve.I'm an only child, and when you compound my Capricorn ascendant, it was no wonder that I had to mature very early. Fortunately, I've learned to loosen up. IP: Logged |
