I still think that the DC describes the kind of relationship I am drawn to. I have Taurus on the DC and I have never really been attracted to Tauruses, nor have I been in relationships with people who have Taurus qualities. What I do like is feeling that the relationship is SECURE and RELIABLE (which would be Taurus like traits) as well as romantic. However, I did note that I have Mars in Leo and the DC in Taurus (both are fixed signs). The current guy that I am talking to and interested in is a Leo Sun with a Scorpio Moon. Pretty fixed. Never thought about that before. I haven't really seen an MC theme in my relationships personally (maybe I haven't looked closely enough)... Though the guy I'm currently interested in has Saturn and Mercury conjuncting my Sun/MC/Venus (and it sextiles my own Saturn/Pluto), so that's probably the first I've seen of that kind of thing. Don't know that I like it right there. Makes me nervous. IP: Logged |

I have Pisces DC - I like people who are sensible, selfless and somewhat dreamy. I guess that I need my partner to have these qualities, since I'm sensitive and not as strong as how my Aries stellium and Mars/Pluto/Jupiter t-square suggests lol (my Neptune is square my Sun and forming a grand trine with my AC/Mars and sextile my Pluto).IP: Logged |

Aquarius DSC: I like men who stand out and I place a lot of importance on the quality of our communication (Mercury conj DSC). I attract a fair amount of Aquarians but I love men with Uranus conj their ASC or Sun, more than actual Aquarius Suns, probably cos my Uranus aspects both my Sun & ASC.Ditto on my MC, sign, Aries, I really admire them & find them masculine & attractive. Oh, Ex-nay on my MC sign.....my associations with Librans always go sour one way or another. Do I like fairness and harmony in my relationships though? Of course, just not at my expense. IP: Logged |

I have Leo on the MC. I love the Leo warmth, generousity and big heart. I never gave much thought to the MC as far as attraction but it makes sense. So, what about the IC angle? My least favorite sign is there---Aqua. If any sign will annoy me to death--it is Aqua lol. My mother is a strong Aqua which does not help. I think Aqua clashes with Gemini. Ami

DC in in Pisces. I quite like the piscean touch, and a hush-hush rondezvous. This sign hasn't figured prominently in my relationships. Don't think I can trust someone with too much of this energy. MC in Gemini. I demand free flowing communication in my relationships. Geminis are full of sh!t (Sun in Gemini, here), so I don't let them get too close. For a specific sign, it's Virgo (my ASC) which shows up time and again in the charts of admirers and crushes. IP: Logged |

Dear Vertiver When a planet is in the 8th house ,it is latent/repressed. IOW,it matures later and after considerable work. Perhaps, they don't mature at all . The 8th house pushes a planet underground. It is similar to the 12th house but different, of course. I cannot articulate HOW it is different right ,now. The best way to describe the 8th house planets are delayed development/underground/repressed BUT they can come out with effort and attention Ami ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing. She is beautiful ,Letram I was thinking about your comment about the DSC. The DSC,by nature,is what we aspire to ,within ourselves. It is almost our "wish" sign in that our wish list is those qualities which come easily to that sign. I feel that with Taurus(DSC) and Sag(NN) I have more of a soul yearning for Tauus qualities, though. The Sag qualities are ones which would add zest to my life but Taurus is like an essential pair of shoes I need for a long walk. Ami ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing.

Ami, why do you think Gem clashes with Aqua? They're trined, and both air... they definitely complement each other. But of course I'm an Aqua Sun with a Gem ASC so maybe I see them differently. Maybe we get annoyed by our IC placements? I get annoyed with Virgo energy which is the sign on my IC (and my SN... and I just found out that my Sun dwad is in Virgo). IP: Logged |

thanks Ami i agree, aquarian qualities i seek to incorporate. Amowls,
im not so sure, if you ask me, i think its your GEM AsC square virgo energy, and pisces Venus that would oppose it. with your mars square it, thats 3 important personal parts of you in hard aspect to virgo energy, including two squares. your air moon and sun and asc dont get earth. my Aqua has a very similar chart to yours, her birthday is on the 15th, same year. but her asc is in cancer, andher venus is in aries, she really likes my virgo energy that i know of. her moon is in Capricorn too, so her earthyness relates, 10th house venus, 6th house mars. dsc in cappy. maybe all the earth makes the difference. her IC is in virgo. my mars conjuncts it, interestingly, my mars rules my MC. libra rests on my IC i dont get irritated by them IP: Logged |

Letram, I agree...because I feel the same way about my MC energy that Amowls feels about her IC. I have Libra on the Midheaven but I also have a Cancer Stellium and an Aries Mars. As for IC, I don't mind Aries as long as they're tempered with some pisces or Taurus. IP: Logged |

Dear Amowls I am very angry at Aqua . My mother is an Aqua sun combust Mercury in the 12th house with an Aqua ASC. Please, when I give my feelings about Aqua--take that in to consideration I am talking about unevolved Aqua's, too. There are some on LL who are wonderful. One who comes to mind is Electric mind. I have never felt my Aqua angst with her . OK-unevolved Aqua's have a holier than thou attitude. They will preach and preach on their high horse but then act petty in the next minute over some minute thing. Also, they love to argue about anything. If you say black, they say white just so they can be different. They want to be different so badly that they have no personality just an amorphous blob. Any angry Aqua's out there--- read my thread about my Mother and give me grace Ami

My desc is, unfortunately, aqua. I have a great nose for the ultra weirdo with high IQ and no chance for stability. I definitely go for traits of aqua over sign. I have mentioned before that I have issues with fixed energy, most likely because I have so much of it myself. I am easily an eccentric but I don't think I need to enact my desc to be one, by virtue of uranus and pluto, I just open my mouth-All of my angles are in the fixed modalities and I wish they weren't. My IC is in scorp and I was abused by a scorp family member- an all too accurate reflection of rl in the natal chart! @ Benedict Moon- I really like your little aside on Libra there, I haven't personally known a libra sun that was not a real mess. No offense to libras, I'm a mutable sun so choices don't come easy to me, either. Ami, I too have an 8th house sun, it's my chart ruler and a singleton. I think of the 8th house as the whip, it is not interested in making anything easy. IP: Logged |

LOL x o Ami PS Ursa--Aqua is on my IC. My mother is a strong Aqua, as I said on this thread. I don't need to quote myself I, really, would like to hear people's feedback on the sign on the IC.

Ami-I have read your threads about your mother and I realized after I posted that your IC is in aqua, it's too literal isn't it? I tend to be very annoyed by scorp sun/moons, I watch them operating the machinery behind the eyes, usually to no positive end. The idea that scorpio stings itself is very true, and you and I and others with 8th house luminaries surely know the feeling. Learning to work with the potentially toxic nature of the relentless need to pursue the truth when fear arises, is a great challenge. My IC in scorp for me means that I have an aversion to suspicion, paranoia, revenge and the like but it also means I participate in it as though it's 2nd nature. Unless my participation revolves around the sun/8th house. I would say that the desire for harmony and belief in an ultimate good are strong with my sun but I am always looking for subtext and motive. IP: Logged |

Aw Ami Ann don't let your mother give you an angry, bitter, ridged look at Aquas. Although do have a bit of bitterness towards Cancers....my mother, but I've seen it is others so it's no just one person I get along with Gems, next to Libra I've been close to them as well. We all get together and talk for hours Hmm I have my IC in Aries....------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |

The DSC doesn't just describe your "ideal" mate. It's much more than that, it's just one piece of the marriage partner puzzle and transits awaken every part as you experience life.Overall, the ruler of my 7th house falling in the 6th describes that I meet my marriage partner at work; although, there is some karma there as well because of the 6/12th axis. But, you will find that its more than just the one view of the sign of your DSC, and that different elements make up what your marriage partner meeting will be like, as well as the type of person they are to you in this lifetime. ENCHANTRESS: It's almost the same with me - never had a relationship with a Taurus - can remember only one casual flirt with a Taurus in my whole life (I'm 40). But: I tend to go longterm, be patient and to act reliable myself in my relationships. And I expect that from my partners, in a way. In my ex-longterm-partners I found some distinct fondness for everything sensual like music, good food, comfort. Most often they have been "slower" or more "lazy" than I am, not as "adventurous" as I behaved - which sometimes led to some discussions. Basically, they had a romantic/playful side - but not overtly so. And, like with you, ENCHANTRESS, I tend to get "entangled" with LEOS soooo often - practically always I end up with a Leo, haha. To be honest: I'd love to switch that pattern one day - thanks, I had my fair share with the Leo-principle. I mean: I do love them! But ... I guess I UNDERSTOOD what a Leo is basically all about - and I wouln't mind to learn some more about another astrological temper ... and try out a new kind of partner one day. I searched for the possible (astrological) reasons for my LEO-attachment. And it seems to be strongly 9th-house-related in my case. 9th-house-cusp: LEO VENUS in 9th house (in Virgo) ruler of LEO = SUN in 8th house (Cancer) MERCURY (ruler of my Venus-sign)in LEO (also 8th house) MARS in CANCER - conjunct MERCURY in Leo (in 8th) ASTEROIDS in LEO: Isis ARABIC PARTS in LEO: Desire Partners Marriage MIDPOINTS in LEO: Sun/Venus Venus/Mars Mercury/Venus Sun/MC AND: My JUNO and CERES are located in LEO's 5th house - and both are in the sign of Taurus. Hm. That's basically all I find. IP: Logged |

Hmm my 7th house ruler is in my 2nd house.... quote: Ruler of the 7th house in the 2nd house The 2nd house is the most stable house of the zodiac. The ruler of the house of relationships in this fixed house is often about stalemate and situations about eternal longings. You may be stuck in love and cannot get out of it.Relationships should be stable and if no relationship is possible, stability is found in material gain and possessions. Relationships tend to influence one's self-worth enormously. Relationships may develop slowly and with difficulty. It's not always the partner you're dreaming of that you will marry! Often, the partner is involved in one's business (love relationships and business go hand in hand).
quote: Ruler of the Seventh House is in the Second House A fortunate marriage, if the Ruler is well aspected. Fluctuating position through a lawsuit.
quote: Ruler of the Seventh House in the Second HouseYour spouse may contribute to your income or you may work closely together to increase your mutual resources. You'll find that your spouse or your closest friends often share the same value system. Partnerships or any other significant one-on-one relationships can boost your money supply and as a result, the giving and receiving principle will come to the fore.
Sometimes the things you find online are just funny. And O_O Any of these make sense?------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |
