I've never noticed how Jovian my natal chart is.Mars is in Sagittarius. Of course I readily knew this and it's is a point of pride for me (as well as Venus in Leo) although it is bewildering for those around me. They never know in which direction I will shoot my arrow next or how far I will expand. While the 4nd house placement of Sag isn't native or all that related, it harmonizes (sextile) with the 2nd house placement of Libra. My Jupiter is well placed in Libra. Jupiter is in a tight conjunction with Mercury and both conjunct Uranus as well. These three planets bounce off of and intensify each other. I always look with trepidation at Saturn...too many father issues, and a Jovian repulsion to limitation and contraction, but it turns out Saturn is well paced in the 9th (as well as 3rd) house. Saturn will discipline the 9th to make it truly effective. Instead of all impractical philosophy and theory, there will be philosophy and theory that can be put to use. The super-consious mind and intuition will become honed. Of course all is not roses and kittens...or maybe it is...softness and sweetness both come with thorns or claws. My Jovian Mars is in hard (very hard) aspect to Pluto, and my Venus is in hard aspect to Saturn. At a work seminar, we were taught to build on our strengths before attempting to correct our weaknesses. It will take less energy to do the former than the latter. I think this applies to our natal charts as well. Why put too much energy in the difficult parts? Expand the positives. This will be my task...to learn the ways of Jupiter, Deus Pater, Zeus...the king of the gods...and to develop the strength there to work with the rest. Wish me luck. IP: Logged |

((((mcmixix))) I hear ya! I have been appreciating your Astrological knowledge and how clearly you explain yourself! When I look at the strengths, I am amazed how many there are and I appreciate parts I take for granted. It does make the weaknesses a little easier to take lol x o Ami ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing. IP: Logged |

Thanks AmiI've also become interested recently in trans Solar System astrology. Of course the Galactic Center or Sagittarius A* (26 sa 25), the Great Attractor (13 sa 32), and V4641 Sagittarii are in Sagittarius for everyone. While Sagittarius A* doesn't seem to impact my natal chart, the Great Attractor does. Now I just need to find the degree in which lies V4641 Sagittarii. There could be impact here as well. Does anyone know? IP: Logged |

Jupiter:Son of Saturn (along with his brothers Neptune and Pluto and sisters Ceres and Veritas) Husband of Juno. Their progeny included: His son Mars His grandsons Romulus and Remus Husband and brother to Ceres Father of Mercury As Zeus, father of Aphrodite (Venus) who sprang from his head. If I look to Roman mythology for cues, I immediately see: What is my relationship to my father? Negatively aspected to Venus...estranged. What are my relationships to my brothers? Aspect wise, it's harmonious with Neptune and problematic with Pluto. I need to reach out to Pluto. I'm uncertain about Ceres, but Veritas is important to me. She's almost an obsession. Progeny include Mars and Mercury. Mars is my rebellious son who doesn't get along with Pluto. I should work on restoring harmony between them. Mercury is the good son, though he can sometimes be indecisive. This might be reading too much into things, but it does give something to think about. Also when I say "my" I'm talking about my Sun self. IP: Logged |

Hello mcmixx! Welcome to LL mmm...I like the sound of your Mercury/Jupiter/Uranus aspect, is it a tight conjunction? IP: Logged |

Great to focus on the positives in your chart. Leads the way to full integration, right? Jupiter is an awesome influence. I continue to be amazed at how it also has to do with the law and higher learning. It's telling that Justice Sotomayor has her Sun conjuct Jupiter. On a personal note, my 5 year old nephew has Sun conjunct Jupiter, and already he is a relentless and very persuasive debater! IP: Logged |

lalalinda...Mercury & Jupiter 1 degree...yes Mercury & Uranus 7 degrees...not so much Jupiter & Uranus 6 degrees...not so much lightworker... Full integration is essential, but I think my method has more to do with laziness. My Mars in Sag would rather have a good time than turn something into work. IP: Logged |
