i have compared the information with people i know and its pretty darn accurate.
but sure, in the book linda says that a person under this or that sun sign wont exactly have this or that quality if there are afflictions to the natal chart.
but other than that its pretty close------------------

but the description of aries do not go well with me ...that too my moon being in aries too.i am not a typical one as per the book.and as she mentions your ascendant is your true inner nature.....my ascendant is leo..but i coulnot find any leo leanings. she said in book your sun-sign accounts for approx 80% of yourself... i know there are lots more things like aspects,houses,conjuctions i am discussing about that in another thread.. but that she said doesnot dimishes the brilliance of the sun as the basic nature should not be modified by them. may be i am born special. did it go well with you? freakyfeverwhat aspects, sign, or, house placements do you see that contradict Aires? For example, do you have aspects to your Aires Sun or Moon that are rather non Arian in character? Do you have many planets in one sign or house that are non Arian in character...especially Libra or the 7th or many water signs or their corresponding houses? What's going on in your 1st house? This could all help to break down the Aries nature, but at the end of the day, you'e still Aires. Others may see it more than you do. Just one example of this was a friend who has Sun conjunct Moon in Gemini. Yes he IS a Gemini...I could see it...but he related more to being a Cancer. PS. I think Sun Signs is a great book...if anything, because it describes well the nature of the sign...even if it isn't always the Sun in that sign. IP: Logged |

i have a lot in both scorpio and the 8th house for starters. i have sun, pluto and mars all in scorpio as well as venus, neptune, and saturn in capricorn all in the 8th house, as well as uranus in capricorn but in the 7th house, so i reeeaaallly identify with being a scorio/capricorn person although i have a gemini ascendant.
about the only gemini qualities i have are thinking a LOT and often forgetting things. i tend to go from one subject to the next quickly and effortlessly. i also tend to do a lot of explaining where i find it necessary.
but other than that, i find the description of scorpio in sun signs to be about 85-90% true for me------------------

@mcmilan first house is ruled by leo that is my rising sign
i have capri saturn/neptune conjucts with aries sun/mercury/venus...which really inhibits it..
but i do have aries stellium..how will it benefit me can you tell me any measure how to eradicte it or how to lessen it...because i truly don't like being unArian like IP: Logged |

from what I have seen in my mom,
even though she has Sun in Gemini, Cancer and Scorpio seem to dominateShe has Ascendant,Mercury,Venus,Jupiter,and Uranus in Cancer
She even has South Lunar Node in Cancer. She has Pluto's fellow transneptunian Orcus in Cancer which is only 11 minutes conjunct her Ascendant. Moon and Saturn in Scorpio I don't own a single sunsign Astrology book. That's how much I don't believe in Sunsign Astrology. I checked out a book on sunsign Scorpio.
I read about the Scorpio mother,and I felt that I was reading all about my mom which led to me look up the moon tables to see if she had Moon in Scorpio. I was right. I don't think that 80 percent Scorpio in my personality. I think that a lot of Pisces show in my personality. My Moon in Pisces square Neptune. My mother has Sun in 12th trine Neptune, and a lot of Pisces stuff fits to her - all the bad and all the good. I wonder how an astrologer came up with an idea that sunsign is 80 percent of the personality. heck..my mom told me a lot about my biological father and how I remind so much of him. He had Sun in Capricorn, but he had Moon in Pisces which I had an accurate hunch about. The Pisces traits seem to dominate a lot. He had stationary retrograde Neptune to boot. He also seemed to have strong Scorpio traits. ------------------

Edit: I think to be less unArian, you'll have to resolve any particularly Saturnian or Neptunian issues in your life. But why go full bore Aires? Isn't more balance better? NickiG...About the Gemini rising, the way I understand it, the AS is how others will tend to see you, not how you'll see yourself. The AS acts as a lens through which the energy of the Sun in particular, and the whole chart to a lesser degree, pours. This makes it somewhat important that the AS is in a harmonious sign as the Sun, or chart in general. Gemini and Scorpio are very dissimilar. When the Solar energy refracts through an AS at an odd angle, the result is a bit odd as well. IP: Logged |

yea, i know...if you were ever to meet me in person you'd agree i was a strange person...but who isnt to some degree, right?
but yea, it deffinitely doesnt "feel" right for me. i prefer to be to myself and prefer not to chatter too much when in a group, but every once in a while i'd be talking up a storm and then on other days be so quiet that people would ask me if there is something wrong with me, but i would simply say "no, nothings wrong, why?" and would have nothing much to say overall.
it almost feels like conflicting intentions, some days i would be in the mood to talk and would talk, some days i would be in the mood to talk and not have much to say, some days i wouldnt be in the mood to talk but talk anyways and some days i wouldnt be in the mood to talk and talk VERY little...so little people wonder if something has happened in my personal life.
its like the twins and the scorpion are fighting------------------

NickiG...Scorpio likes to keep its secrets, unroot those of others, and draw a select few people close in. Gemini couldn't be more different. Do you ever talk about or divulge more about your self than you wish would have? Do you bounce from person to person like a butterfly, but it feels to you like something you don't really want to do? oh yea, i dont tend to keep many of the same friends and i dont tend to keep in contact with my closest friends from childhood.
whatever secrets i think i have are unknown to me or i dont see them as a big secret for me not to share.
whatever secrets i hide from people eventually come out if i feel close enough to that person.
there have been some secrets that have been confided in me and i would disregard it as "no big deal." sometimes i would keep the secret if i'm really tight with the person. other times, if i'm not that close to that person, i might slip the secret, especially if i dont find it worth keeping------------------

@mcmilix...i think aries are never boring..how can a fiery person be boring....but i think this quality is missing in me......as people don't seem to enjoy my company.....but yes being a balanced one is more boring... please tell me how to resolve those "awful saturn/neptune afflictions"..i really hate it in my birth chart IP: Logged |

You obviously have pronounced influence in Aries with a LEO AC (of all signs) which is supported by the ruler of Aries - your Mars in Gemini (an air sign which fuels your fire).Honestly - I know I shouldn't go by astrology only, but somehow - I doubt you could be boring.
