These are fun lil articles from Donna Cunningham's blog, I took the test a few months ago for em all and Pluto came up as strongest, but what about the rest of you? Any surprises? Here are the links: Sun Moon Mercury Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto Chiron Didn't find any for Venus/Mars/Jupiter but the format is easy to follow if you want to make your own. Adding for the Moon: -Moon conjunct or opposite the Sun and within 6° of the North or South Node, 10 points, as you were born at an eclipse. (For each degree that separates the Moon and Sun, your birth was about 2 hours from the eclipse. 6° represents 12 hours.) -The Moon’s North or South Node in Cancer or the 4th house, 5 points. Wow this is pretty acurate to cosmodynes. It seems like if you have a Leo sun, you're definitely Sun prominent though. I scored 61 for the Sun! And I'm also quite Mercurian - 51! What surprised me was that I'm also quite Plutonian - 47. IP: Logged |

I simplified it a bit in my above post, and pasted it here, since most of it is repetitious (sp?) So they're all included now.IP: Logged |

I hope I did this right. This is based on Donna Cunningham's individual tests, (took me over an hour) not the simplified version...Sun- 73 Moon- 51 Mercury- 39 Saturn- 35 Uranus- 43 Neptune- 43 Pluto- 52 Chiron-41 According to this, my top 3 planets are Sun, Pluto, and Moon. I tried to check my dominant planets on a few other sites. Pullen's chart had Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune for me. Astrotheme was Pluto, Venus, and Mars. Cafe Astrology was Sun, Pluto, and Venus. My personal preference would be Pluto, Venus, Mars, and Saturn. Pluto has to be #1 because it's in Scorpio, the Sun and Mercury is in the 8th house, and it's conjunct in MC. The other planets may be in a different order from the way I listed them.IP: Logged |

The simplified version puts it all in one spot, adds info for calculating Venus & Mars based on the same calculations as for Mercury, adds info for calculating Jupiter based on the same calculations for Saturn.* The one thing I added, if you're using the simplified version, is planets/luminaries within 10 deg of ASC (from h12) being counted toward Mars. This is based on her using planets/luminaries within 10 deg of MC (from h9) and counting those toward Saturn. Oh! I also added the use of Virgo and H6 both for Mercury. I can't believe they weren't included in the original? Unless she thinks they belong to Chiron.. IP: Logged |

I did it differently this time, adding minor aspects and the larger orbs she uses,Moon - 71 Venus - 68 Pluto - 55 Mercury - 46 Saturn - 45 Sun - 40 Mars - 34 Uranus - 33 Neptune - 23 Jupiter - 15 (definitely agree with this as weakest) Pullen ranks my top 3 as Venus, Pluto, Sun in some sort of order. I know it gives my Sun extra points because it's the chart ruler. Donna didn't add anything extra for chart ruler, unfortunately. I think it matters. And I think Pullen uses smaller orbs. Doing that for M/V/J, I got the following results: Neptune - 50 (as I expected) Saturn - 43 (I didn't expect THAT, lol...) Sun - 41 Moon - 40 Mercury - 40 Jupiter - 38 (expected a higher result from my "savior" :/) Chiron - 38 (surprise! ) Mars - 29 Uranus - 27 Pluto - 26 Venus - 22 (only, my poor Venus, it's my least aspected planet ) IP: Logged |

I did it in the simplified version and it came out this way...Mercury-50 Sun-49 Moon-49 Chiron-47 Neptune-46 Mars-45 Pluto-41 Saturn-30 Jupiter-29 Venus-25 Uranus-19 (I didn't expect this to be lower than Venus) According to Pullen, my strongest Planets are Mercury, Pluto, Moon, and Neptune. In this one, the sun is in the top four (which I still think is strange), and Chiron is included.

I might have written the simplified in too vague a manner? The aspects for instance would count toward both, like mars conj pluto, you would count that for mars and for pluto..but if it's moon conj pluto, they'll both get higher scores because a luminary is involved. There I go again thinking I can handle practical things. Dummy me lol But I try, attempt, I do aspire to be practical and thorough. That's a good thing. I disagree though on the chart ruler, and its placement/aspects, not being given special importance. We could even make up our own, so there's room for invention here, people We know enough about charts to do it IP: Logged |

Thanks Lonake! I did this quickly - off the top of my head.. so it might not be exactly accurate:Neptune - 48 Pluto - 43 Saturn - 37 Sun - 36 Moon - 33 Chiron - 18 Uranus - 13 Mercury - 9 I kind of agree to this - except for Mercury which seems stronger in my chart. IP: Logged |

I used the Pullen chart,but I've also already done Donna's test too. According to Clairvision Virtual Astrologer. Venus/Moon/Saturn/Mars are the strongest in my chart. I think it makes more sense. Planet: Position Aspects Total Rank Percent Sun: 73.5 ( 2) + 28.6 ( 6) = 102.1 ( 2) / 11.8% Moon: 35.0 ( 5) + 13.5 (14) = 48.5 ( 9) / 5.6% Mercury: 75.0 ( 1) + 33.0 ( 5) = 108.0 ( 1) / 12.4% Venus: 47.5 ( 4) + 14.0 (13) = 61.5 ( 5) / 7.1% Mars: 33.5 ( 7) + 44.0 ( 1) = 77.5 ( 3) / 8.9% Jupiter: 20.0 ( 9) + 39.4 ( 3) = 59.4 ( 6) / 6.8% Saturn: 15.0 (11) + 16.6 (12) = 31.6 (14) / 3.6% Uranus: 28.5 ( 8) + 21.8 ( 7) = 50.3 ( 8) / 5.8% Neptune: 35.0 ( 6) + 21.3 ( 9) = 56.3 ( 7) / 6.5% Pluto: 56.0 ( 3) + 8.2 (16) = 64.2 ( 4) / 7.4% Chiron: 7.0 (13) + 13.5 (15) = 20.5 (16) / 2.4% Ceres: 20.0 (10) + 18.0 (11) = 38.0 (12) / 4.4% Pallas: 5.0 (15) + 42.9 ( 2) = 47.9 (10) / 5.5% Juno: 10.0 (12) + 21.7 ( 8) = 31.7 (13) / 3.6% Vesta: 5.0 (16) + 37.9 ( 4) = 42.9 (11) / 4.9% Node: 7.0 (14) + 20.4 (10) = 27.4 (15) / 3.2% Total: 473.0 + 394.7 = 867.7 / 100.0% Here's what I got for Donna's tests. 1.Sun 77 2.Moon 49 3.Mercury 43 Saturn 28 7.Uranus 32 4.Neptune 39 8.Pluto 28 5.Chiron 34 9.Mars 27 6.Jupiter 35 IP: Logged |

oh fun!wow, it's actually pretty eye-opening! Sun -61 Moon -77 Mercury -36 Venus -33 Mars -51 Jupiter -30 Saturn -25 Neptune -15 Uranus -16 Pluto -26 Chiron -44 i got my ego power (Sun + Mars) conflicting with emotions and its wounds (Moon + Chiron). i lack imagination and originality (Neptune + Uranus) while not having particular preferences and order (Venus + Saturn). how unpleasant that sounds!
