For the second time this year during a Mercury retrograde, I have had an expensive cell phone lost/stolen. Unbelievable!I'm a Virgo of course, so feel like it's especially hard on me. Has anyone else had bad things happen to them during Mercury Rx? quote: In general, Mercury rules thinking and perception, processing and disseminating information and all means of communication, commerce, education and transportation. By extension, Mercury rules people who work in these areas, especially those who work with their minds or their wits: writers and orators, consultants, commentators and critics, gossips and spin doctors, salespeople, teachers, travellers, tricksters and thieves. Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; flawed, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray or awry.

I am sorry that happened!!! Ask Angels, the Universe, your higher Guidance, to help you find your phone...........that usually works for me when I lose things.......Sorry you experience this. I never have any bad experiences with Merc Rx.........but everything does happen for a reason, (not particularly the loss of your cell phone), but perhaps Merc Rx wants us to pay attention more, give more duty to things, help us re-visit things....... you never know. hey sweetie. I mentioned th phone thing on twitter. I'm sorry girl. Can you trace it like the other one you lost? {{{hugs}}} losing contacts and having to configure everything is so tedious. As for my Mec Rx, it hasn't been eventful, and it seldom is. I'm a Virgo Sun and Virgo Venus. IP: Logged |

Mercury Rx is notorious for such occurrences. As per Murphy's Law, had your phone been a cheap Knock-Off version, it may not have got stolen. The battery would have failed instead during an important call. Our Stove developed a sudden snag, a vital Computer Monitor went kaput for no reason, many emails did not reach, a relative lost a passport, and a friend got cheated in a fraudulent land deal. All pretty much "normal" for Mercury Rx. IP: Logged |

Nepthys,Thanks. I actually had a dream about the phone last night and it was found, but of course in reality, it's location is still unknown I wouldn't be surprised if the universe is trying to tell me something...I am quite careless and trusting with my belongings. Lesson learned! Unmoved Can you believe this has happened again? Ugh! No, I can't trace it, this was actually my work-assigned cell phone so I didn't have the fancy tracking on it like my iPhone that was stolen. Sigh. IP: Logged |

Yes, I agree with Unmoved iQ, that is a lot!A friend of mine sent out some party invitations for her daughter's birthday party via email last week and was wondering why hadn't received any responses...turns out the email never went through! And a friend interviewed for a job after I warned her of the Merc Rx (a fellow Virgo). Of course she didn't get it. IP: Logged |

I'm getting my place renovated atm, bought a new computer on the 18th of August, a few days before Merc went rx, nothings bad happened yet. Transiting Merc rx squares my Sun & Chiron for now.During the last Mercury rx earlier this year, when it conjuncted my NN in Taurus in 7th, I had a canceled appointment, but that's about it. I am thinking that I am liking retrograde Mercury. I met an Aries Sun,Pisces Moon,Capricorn Rising woman on Spiritual Singles. I sent her a couple messages letting her know that I am interested in her,and she added me on facebook. I didn't know who she was at first. I thought she was one of the people from the DNA group. I was waiting for her to contact me on The Spiritual Singles site. It took me about 4 days to realize that she was already on my facebook when I recognized her profile picture. I even apologized for not messaging her earlier, and I explained my reason why. I gave her an astrology reading that she told me was a nice surprisedand thanked me for. She and I had a nice first chat last night. She is a light-worker and into Doreen Virtue, angel stuff. She's beautiful on the inside and outside. Her Mercury 20'12 Pisces is oppose Haumea in 18'18 Virgo and trine Ceres in 17'17 Cancer, and my Mercury in 18'21 Scorpio forms a kite with it. That would indicate that she and I can have exceptional communication. Of course, just our Mercury trine Mercury indicates easy, harmony in communications with each other. My Mercury-Venus conjunction is conjunct her Midheaven too. I joined Spiritual Networks site on August 15th, and now I have over 60 friends. Only 3 of them I added first.
The DNA group now has 600 members in 3 months that it was first started. I even developed a friendship with a man that I first knew back in my freshman year of high school. I hadn't seen him since my junior year of high school. That was when I was 17,and I am 38. He and I reconnected a month ago.He happened to ride by my home when I was checking my mail, and so he found that I lived there. It was a chance meeting. I was thinking of calling him any way before that meeting. It was a nice synchronicity. I don't think the retrograde Mercury has been a problem for me.
I do look forward to it being direct though. Raymond ------------------ No..I am not a Virgo.

I'm so happy for you Raymond Glad it's working out for someone.Do you have any other interesting synastry? You know I'm a synastry fiend...have you been able to do a complete chart? Part of me thinks we shouldn't peek at the charts of our romantic partners so soon after meeting them because we can get too hung up on the synastry but part of me is so curious I know I will do it anyway IP: Logged |

Thanks, everybody. I will start a thread on the synastry soon. There is some very interesting stuff including the Draconics. I just recently met her,and so I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. It's always good to take things slow. I was badly hurt by my exgf. I am avoiding getting hurt again. I want to be cautious and practical. That's my Moon square Saturn, Venus contraparallel Saturn, as well as Saturn oppose both my 7th house rulers, Jupiter-Neptune in Sagittarius. She's the first woman that I am interested in over 2 years since my exgf broke up with me. She even has the same birthday as the day that my exgf broke up with me - April 2nd. I'd like to see that day as a good day now. Raymond

Benedict Moon,That's funny because Belgz lost her license today! You've had quite the series of catastrophes though The good news is, it'll be over soon. Can't wait! Raymond, I think the biggest pitfall from overanalyzing the synastry is developing "expectations" from what we see in the charts...if you can avoid that and just let things develop naturally you'll be fine. "Raymond, I think the biggest pitfall from overanalyzing the synastry is developing "expectations" from what we see in the charts...if you can avoid that and just let things develop naturally you'll be fine. " I agree. I can't help be curious about what the synastry and check out the actual aspects. Synastry only shows the chemistry between 2 people. It doesn't show if they will get together or not. There can be numerous reasons that the couple don't get together. She's in Toronto, Canada. Distance could be a problem. However, she told me she would like to live in California one day. It seems like she would be open to relocation. My exgf and I had a nice synastry overall. She and I even had cosmodyne score of 99. Our relationship wasn't strong enough for her to stand up to her man-disliking mother who thinks all men are bad. any way....no matter how good a synastry is, it doesn't mean that a couple will get together. Even if they do, it doesn't mean that they will stay together.
Free will is the ultimate factor
That's how I am going to approach things with Julie. She and I recently met. We're not in any relationship. She seems like a busy woman. She's even going through a Saturn Return and she is going through a lot of changes just like it shows.
I feel that I should approach things cautiously and practically. I don't want to look desperate nor aggressive. I think that showing some detachment is necessary. My next Solar Return does seem to show the potential relationship that may involve foreigners, travel
conjunction of: Sun in 5'20 Scorpio in 9th Venus in 5'36 Retrograde in 9th sextile Ceres in 5'50 Capricorn in 11th sextile Pluto in 3'18 Capricorn in 11th sextile Lunar Nodes Stationary Direct in 4'26 Capricorn/Cancer in 11th/5th square Ascendant in 3'57 Aquarius There is also Mercury in 12'54 Scorpio in 9th trine Moon in 14'23 Cancer in 6th
3 planets in 9th house in Solar Return
not sure if I will meet a gal through spiritual/religious organization, or friendships involving them or through travels, or a foreigner or maybe all of the above
9th house will be the main theme for the next Solar Return period. The Ascendant ruler Uranus is conjunct Jupiter in 2nd trine Midheaven. The Descendant Ruler Sun is conjunct 9th house ruler Venus in 9th and square Ascendant. oh...I found something weird in my current Solar Return
There is an asteroid Toronto Toronto in 12'35 Taurus R conjunct Descendant in 13'23 Taurus Julie is in Toronto Raymond ------------------ No..I am not a Virgo.

An Aries Light Worker is a great catch. Me thinks Raymond and Julie can make a great couple. Only a Pisces Moon girl can understand and happily cope with a Pisces Moon guy. There might even be telepathy. Plus the social service values will bolster the relationship through thick and thin. Good to see something positive in Mercury Rx.------------------ http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html Readings IP: Logged |
