Yes, my father's death was very recent; yesterday it had been exactly 1 month since he passed. He had the same disease as me & my children. He was absent for much of my life. I went my whole life believing he never loved me. In the past few weeks, some earth-shattering truths have been brought to my attention. I didn't find out until after he died, how much he suffered, and how much he needed & wanted me. Too long of a story to go into, but I feel such a huge burden of guilt, and I'm afraid I'll have to live with it as long as I live. But thank you for writing the words "next year looks alot better for you...". OH, how I needed to hear something like that. My morale is so low.

I'm afraid I've lost the email, but they did give me a sense of peace. Yes, I believe my pisces moon got me into a lot of toxic relationships when I was younger. I thought my husband was different. I knew from the first moment I saw him, that he was IT for me. I suppose he feels cheated in life, he ended up with a sick wife & kids...that's how he makes me feel. He is a pisces sun, but he is nothing like the "books" describe pisces. He has became one of the most selfish people I know. It makes me so sad, and I still love him so much. Sounds cliche, but I am not in a position to leave him at this time. Sometimes I feel like the only hope left for our marriage is for me to find a way to leave, and let him go it on his own. See what life is really like without me.
I will use the visualization you mentioned. I will pass this on to my children. My daughter is 13, but my son is only 5, so I'm not sure if this will make much sense to him. I'm wondering how much time a day we should commit to this. Being a virgo, and all, I like to make sure I do things the "right" way, lol. My problem seems to be that anymore I think too much with my head & not my heart. the thing is everything seems to come at the same time. I mean, here there are many issues that need to be isolated. your father's death, the revelations that you evoke, your husband, your kids, their disease, yours. I mean that's a lot of issues and none are easy to deal with.

I had a look at fabry disease on the web, and TBH I don't know how to help. no cure right now but I read that gene therapy was giving hope. I don't want to pretend I know what to say. except that the treatment to better patient's life is bloody expensive. I read 250,000 $ per year/per patient ??? let's hope in the future, science will have improvedgreatly. and your kids, or the kids of your kids will be able to live like anyone with flu.

in time like this, I think you need to meet other people who get where you are coming from. that's what I'd do anyway.

regarding your husband, I don't know him, but from what you wrote you still love him. you'd like him to behave differently but you still love him. you said you wanted to lean on someone else:

I understand that one would want that from his spouse. fair enough! but could you not make him scared by the task if he feels inside himself that he's not strong enough to carry you all. I don't know the dynamics of your couple, my sister for example, she's a strong woman, and her downs syndrome's son was a challenge. she's a leo sun (tho in 12th) with aries moon. her husband is a cancer sun with a leo moon. she's the man and he's the woman. don't get me wrong, he's an excellent sweet loving daddy. and I'm happy for my niece and my nephew. but I know my sister wanted, no, needed some support at some poin that he was unable to give. both of them were affected by the situation. they were both concerned for their son. my sister needed support but he needed it too.

I don't know you or your husband so I can't see what you mean by being "mean" and "negative". it surely is, for you, right now, but there could be many reasons why, and many way to solve it.

I wonder if your dad's death is not the thing that makes you feel how you feel, more than any other problem. you talk about guilt. I think I know about that one. my dad died when I was 13 and he had divorced my mum when I was a very young kid 4-5 and in between I Didn't want to visit him. when he died, I felt some tremendous guilt for not wanting to visit him.

I don't know the details of what is keeping you married to this man, but if it is "love", then you need to rethink your idea of love.
