moon is the same degree in opposite signs and both are moons are in each others 12th house

do you think there is some kind of connection there spirtually maybe? or in the past? thanks!

Without seeing the chart, I would think it would be quite easy to get under each other's skin, for better or worse. In tune on a level where others are not readily admitted (h12).

H12 placements in synastry can really throw you off (the h12 person) because it's as if everything you try to hide is laid bare.
Not saying that's your case, it's just a common reaction. So it could be close, but it could just as easily throw you off balance.
