there are quite a few sites online that will give you the basic info. the best books i know on the subject are theodora lau's "handbook of chinese astrology" and suzanne white's "chinese astrology" (the new edition title includes "plain and simple" or something like that). lau is chinese and very knowledgeable...suzanne white's book reminded me of linda, also of debbie kempton-smith, she has a very chatty anecdotal style but she tends to be right on the money too!

i am an ox. it took me many years to learn to appreciate this fact!! i used to pretend to be a dragon. my best friend was a dragon. he went up in a sudden puff of smoke a few years ago way too young. but he made a good life while it lasted. no compromises! lots of grand gestures and principles! a great performer if not the most reasonable person you ever met.

i always thought of the ox as a plodding uninteresting beast. but some of the deepest thinkers and subtly moving folk are oxen. great writers and storytellers. charlie chaplin and john entwistle....also some of the stubbornest, like hitler and napoleon! we are built to run things, but best when we don't want all the glory too. seldom flashy, though a few of those come to mind they were usually leos...and we can endure what kills most others.

the monkey dances around problems like an acrobat...very clever. can make or break a party!

Earth Dragon and Proud. I'm not the super extroverted kind, but it makes alot of sense for me in many other ways (or perhaps thats just my afflicted Aries Mars and 5th house Venus...hehe).

Cool, I know we were definitely born during the same year. I still love being Dragon, but I feel that its having its disadvantages right now. O__o
