Somebody had a thread on this, I can't find it...

Just wanted to say I think there must be something to that. A connection between the Moons in a love relationship could be more important than a connection between the Suns.

Mine has a strong square to Pluto and I still feel a warm sense of comfort around them

Me and my ex had en exact trine of our moons in Gemini and Aquarius. It lasted many years on and off but I wouldn't say emotionally we react the same or are the same at home. He is a lazy a$$ who likes to eat and sleep all day while I don't like to sleep past 9 am and hate staying at home unless I have someone over or something to do. Our sleeping patterns as suggested by the moon are not similar. Emotional reactions are not in harmony. Our suns are sextile as well.
He is very dependent as well for an Aquarius moon and overly sensitive. Neptune is finally coming off his moon which might help him

Anyways in that ten years he always felt like family. I don't think it's because we've been together so long I know it was like that when we met. The day I met him it felt like I knew him forever and he was so fun. Now he's old and grumpy and a big sook. Were out of sync now lol

I had moon conjunct moon with someone (1 degree), definitely feels like family or home. Biggest love I ever felt, ended in disaster. We both have uranus square moon, his was exact. Horrible, fated thing, down to the bone, at least for me.

I remain bemused by it as if it were an echo I will always hear. I do equate the moon with heart and the end of that relationship left me feeling orphaned. I guess that would make sense with the uranus square as I have often read that it reflects abandonment fears.

Thank you, Lonake, belgz and Ursa :-)

My man's Sun (Aquarius) and my Sun (Virgo) don't aspect each other, but we have strong Moon contacts (his in Leo and mine in Libra).

I've never really completely understood him (Aqua-Virgo, I think he is strange ;-)), but the feeling between us is really warm, like being at home with one another (his Moon also conjuncts my ASC).

Belgz,

the natal aspects to the Moons (especially conjunctions, squares and oppositions) can cause a lot of modifications.
Also, you mentioning being "out of sync" now, makes me think of progressed Moons somehow.

I am curious.
In what signs did both your IC`s fall? As well, as the ruler of 4th house? Plus their aspects?

With my best friend, male, we have oppose moon.Mine is Cancer. His is Cap.

We have lots of good Sun,Mercury, Mars , Neptune and Pluto aspects but I can feel the`lack of moon.

We do not get what makes the other tick. For that reason, it could not be more than friends.

My Moon is Cap.
I prefer Gemini Moon for some reason. It really helps cheer me up when I get the blues. It's my favourite Moon sign - A lot of my friends and the man I love - have this Moon.

There is something about Moon-Moon aspects that gets too 'bogged down' in emotional issues.

The Moons I seem to like are Scorpio Moon and sometimes Pisces Moon. The sextiles work.

The trines - I haven't met a Virgo Moon so I can't comment. My bestie has Taurus Moon conjunct my Venus, but not *trine* my Moon by aspect. The only Taurus Mooner who is trine by aspect - is a person I can barely stand. He is very difficult.

The conjunction - is great! But in time we are both just too serious and depressive together.

The opposition - The only time I had this with a close friend was in highschool and we were "friends" for about six years. I can't stand her now - I have not spoken to her since and will never speak to her again in my life. Our Suns are trine - She's a Leo. But she has really betrayed my trust and started certain rumours I cannot forgive her for.

Funnily enough I found out a family member who I am very close to also has the Leo-Cancer Moon combo. This overthrew my initial perspective on Cancer Moon. Because this person is just golden.

The squares - I don't know many Libra Mooners. Aries Moons are usually quite good - mainly if they conjunct my Sun. There is some friction from the Cappy square - but I still like the Aries energy.

Well, that would explain his sleepiness / laziness. Pisces could come across like that to a Gemini-Moon. You said he was having Tr Neptune on his Moon? That would emphasize the (passing) Neptunianess of his Moon even more.
And of course Gemin and Pisces are square siogns.

Your IC is in Sagittarius with 4th house ruler in Sagittarius conjunct Uranus all on the 3rd house cusp. That explains the (restless) energy you have.
The constellations surrounding the 4th house are your "individual" Moon, so to speak.
Yours is coloured by a lot of Jupiter energy (IC in Sag, ruler of 4 in Sagittarius) and Uranus (ruler of IC conjunct Uranus), though there could be occasional some confusing Neptune influence, too (Neptune conjunct IC), though I personally have found the constellations of the ruler of the 4th house more fitting than the aspects to the cusp itself. Curiously though.

Ruler of your4th house is opposing Chiron in 12th - are you having mother problems or family problems, whose reasons are somehow "unclear", or were you getting ambiguous messages in your childhood, that you could not easily decipher, and thus it gave you the feeling you could not firmly rely on your mother / family?

(WEll, that does not have anythng to do with your sleeping pattern I guess, I just noticed it).

Ferdi`s IC is in Virgo, with its ruler in Gemini in 12th house, pretty unaspected I guess.
There seems to be an inner conflict between Mercury and Neptune in him (Gemini in 12th house), and since his pr Moon is in Pisces and TR Neptune has been on his natal Moon, the Pisces side may be more pronounced.

Of course both, Gemini and PIsces, are at odds with your Sagittarian traits in relation to 4th house matters.

Hmm I've met a few fellow Aries Mooners, and it does feel that we are kind of similar when it comes to emotions. There's indeed some affinity and easy understanding there. But then we also had other compatible personal planets.

For me, fire Moons seems to be fun to get along with, they just have the joyful motivation to have fun together lol.
I'm not sure about air Moons since I haven't identified many of them around me.
But I seem to like water Moons, specially Pisces (my DC is in Pisces). They have the sensitivity I like and somehow need, coz I'm not as fiery and strong as a typical Aries and I can be a bit sensitive to aggressiveness (probably due to my Neptune aspects in the chart).
About earth Moons, I also haven't identified many around me, but I guess that we can get along, since I have some earth stuffs.

Well, of course. The Sun is our ego, the Moon is our core.

I've only experienced a Moon/Moon conjunction once and I felt the most tender with him out of all of my other romantic relationships.

I have that with my best friend`s husband.
My Moon is conjunct his Moon by 2 degrees.
The ruler of his IC, Venus, is conjunct the ruler of my IC, Mars.

In a way I am more similiar to him than she is, and can easily understand why he does the things he does and why he reacts in a certain way at times.

There NEVER has been any kind of romantic attraction between us, just this personal similiarity; I actually met him before she did, and in the beginning, when she wasn`t all too enthusiastic about him, it was oftentimes me, who explained his behaviour to her.
Of course, though it was not HER way of emotional reaction, she has always been supportive of his (and my) emotional nature.
Her Moon is sextile his (and my) Moon. And her Moon is in 11th house which fits our Aquarius Moon.

But this made me think that though Moon to Moon can be awfully familiar and nice, we usually look for something more complimentary, than similiar.
His ASC and Sun conjunct her DESC for starters.

True, but I think its a little bit different if your a Cancer sun like me...since we are moon ruled. Anything touching my sun feels alot like a Moon connection to me.

so does everything touching my Sun feels like Jupiter to me, as my Sun in Sag?
Mmh, that might actually be true.

DD,

My mother was a lunatic. What house is represented when I have my own family?

Will that fourth house BS in my chart carry on when I have my own family and home?

The BS will only carry on, if you don`t deliberately decide to act differently.
But there are several expressions possible for every aspects, hopefully you will pick a healthier one.

My Scorp-Moon to..

- Leo-Moon * I always attract them (as my Sun = Leo) but more than platonic was never im frage.

- Taurus-Moon * I always attract them, it seems they can technically kiss like no one else can - the tighter this opposition to my Moon the MORE feeling and the less focus on the technical glorification.
my longest love (as the only exception to the kiss-rule)

- Aquarius-Moon * my second longest love had this in square to my Moon.

- Scorp-Moon * my 2 sisters have this in conjunction to mine, I think this is enough.
@ edit; 4/5 years i was totally in love with one and almost became a stalker (how could I forget?)

Striking enough I've only fixed moons in my memory.
