That doesn't mean that Pluto no longer works in Astrology. It still is a very significant object in Astrology. As a dwarf planet, it has more significance than any other object in our solar system that is not a planet. The same could be said for Eris,Makemake,Haumea, and Ceres with Sedna,Orcus,Quaoar,Varuna, and Ixion also be joining the ranks. Of course, over 70 objects are dwarf planet candidates. All of them are transneptunians.
Ceres is the only asteroid that is classed as a dwarf planet. It may actually be a kuiper belt object that was joined with Pluto as part of a single kuiper belt object but traveled in the inner solar system Raymond

I feel Pluto transits a way of a lot stronger than Mars... anyway Mars and Pluto are completely two different energies... IP: Logged |

Thank Goodness, Pluto Retro always leaves me feeling a little vague and off course. Could be because its rolling over my Neptune in the 1st at 3 degs of Capricorn. Hopefully my addictive fog will finally begin to lift!IP: Logged |

I actually laughed when somebody said that Scorpios would be complaining about Pluto being demoted. When Pluto was demoted , I was thinking "It's about time! Pluto was never a planet to begin with." Since 2000, I was tracking the discoveries of the transneptunian objects. I believed that astronomers were going to eventually find a transneptunian object larger than Pluto in the 21st Century and that Pluto would be demoted because of it. When that happened with the discovery of Eris, I was very glad. Finding out that my Sun in 5'20 Scorpio conjunct the Geocentric South Eris Node in 5'29 Scorpio, oppose the Geocentric North Eris Node in 5'30 Taurus and that my Earth in 5'20 Taurus conjunct/oppose Heliocentric Eris Nodes in 5'30 Taurus/Scorpio made perfect sense to me. There is no wonder I greatly diverged from astrologers and Scorpios in regards to Pluto being a planet. Of course, it gave me a lot more insight into myself and my life purpose. Pluto is the pretender, the impostor planet. Heck..it was even thought to be large as our Earth, and so that factored into it being quickly embraced as the 9th planet. It took 48 years later to discover that Pluto was actually much smaller than Earth's Moon. It took over a decade after that to realize that Pluto was not the Planet X based on Percival Lowell's theory and that the Planet X was based on calculation errors of Neptune's mass.
Considering all that, it makes sense that Pluto was discovered during a Sun-Venus oppose retrograde Neptune. Things aren't always what they seem with that aspect. It's illusive, deceptive, confusing, and hard to pin down. Pluto was discovered when the Lunar Nodes were stationary in 5'10 Taurus/Scorpio conjunct/oppose Geocentric North Eris Node in 4'33 Taurus,Geocentric South Eris Node in 6'28 Scorpio as well as conjunct the Heliocentric Eris Nodes in 5'08 Taurus/Scorpio.
It makes sense that Eris would factor into Pluto's death as a planet and rebirth as a dwarf planet. Pluto and Charon are actually a binary dwarf planet system. It would makes sense to include the symbolisms of Charon, the ferryman of the Underworld. If we don't, then I believe that we don't have the total picture of that binary system. Raymond

Well. It's not. Even when I watch 'The Universe' series on the History channel, they say 9 planets instead of 10. hehehe

shrugsany ways it's still an important thing in Astrology Transiting Pluto in my 4th now in an applying sextile to my Moon in 3'11 Pisces in 6th. Transformation in my domestic environment linked to opportunities with my emotions, feeling in areas of routine, work, service basically emotional regeneration and change of routine It's also now in applying sextile my Sun in Right Ascension, and so an opportunity to transform my ego, self expression
I am looking forward to transformation in my life. My next Solar Return period has Sun-Venus sextile Pluto-Ceres-North Node Node, and so I will definitely have opportunities for transformation and regeneration.

Hallelujah, Pluto going Direct. Yesssssss! I can't wait until he trines my Venus and hopefully I will be a nymphomaniac and find someone to let my nympho loose on. Also, if Pluto can intensify my Venusian qualities, I would be happy about that. But then, after that, Pluto will scare everything in my 12th. IP: Logged |
