Good afternoon all!I have a question about privacy and finances. After a grueling 5 months of searching for jobs, I finally found a job in the school system. I actually start work this upcoming Monday and I'm so excited! Well, here's my dilemma. As a Scorpio moon, I'm terribly private. Now, I'm going to have to be even more tight lipped about my salary because you NEVER share it with your co-workers. But, a certain family member keeps asking me about how much I'll make. I don't like when she inquires about it because she has a big mouth and has no problem talking about OTHER people's economic situations. That's a big no no for me. Ok just a question  What is the big deal about your finances? I think in Australia everyone talks about this, well around me they do accept for my ex boyfriend who liked to hide everything! Do you think someone is going to take your money if they find out how much you earn? I mean what goes through your mind when you decide you don't want to tell anyone? Do you feel threatened or insecure about it? I am just trying to understand why certain people have issues discussing things. To me as a Gemini moon wages is a way of life we all earn different amounts and who cares really if I earn $20 a week or $2000? I don't know why it is such a private topic, what is so shameful about people knowing?  IP: Logged |

I have a 12th house Mercury in Scorpio and hate it when anyone asks me how much I paid for anything or tries to dig for information about anything financial.You'd think that my having a Sag Sun, Asc and Mars I would be more open, but it's completely the opposite. I'm pretty close-mouthed about a lot of things. I hate people digging for information unless I want to volunteer the info, forget about asking. IP: Logged |

lalalinda--Hi sweetie! Thank you for the warm welcome. I love it here already! Belgz--Well, in America it has always been said that you keep your finances private for various reasons. It could cause problems if too many people (especially your co-workers) know how much money you make. LOL I see you have a Gemini moon, that explains why you're so open Dee--LOL!
