Hey nikki just wanted to share, I watch ST: TNG religiously when it was originally showed on air.

It was wonderful exploring a galaxy with those people, Data was a favorite and so was geordie, i liked his visor

These types of shows will usually touch on subjects you dont find elsewhere.

i was in 5th grade elementary ( we had a big banner in the courtyard that said "Millenium Class") when that show came out i think, same year Mortal Kombat was released in the arcades..

Guess who was my favorite? Scorpion!

The kids were talking about this game they had found, you can set a guy on fire and all is left is the skeleton! scorpions fatality was my first memory of the game and i hadn't even seen it yet!

i think the most brutal one was when that spear "get over here" thing flies through that girls head and he rips it off, she does that little half turn then falls on the ground...her head is shattered all over the ground

wait on second thought i think ST TNG came out in the late 80's, i remember watching the pilot episode now.

yep: i was about 6 years old sitting on the couch..
It premiered the week of September 28, 1987 to 27 million viewers[1] with the two-hour pilot "Encounter at Farpoint". With 178 episodes spread over seven seasons, it ran longer than any other Star Trek series, ending with the two-hour finale "All Good Things..." the week of May 23, 1994.

Sometimes the best part was the names of the episodes, and how the episodes started. Always made the swirling sense of wonder fill me up.

i think they still win awards for quality to this day.

lol, yup...my favorite episode out of all of them is "The Naked Now" lol, data was soo funny in that episode...heehee, Spiner is such a good actor...oh, Spiner was also brilliant in the season 7 episode "Masks" that made my list too
