They say that Mars aspected to Neptune in Synastry means sexual attraction, but my mars is in the same sign as my Neptune which means that my whole generation will be aspected to mine. I'm sure that doesn't mean everyone is. Is this one of those 'Oh Pluto means this' but since it's an outer planet, not really? Or would Mars still count for connecting to an outer?

Perhaps you can traslate it into using your energy for universal or spiritual purposes or to benefit others. It depends on the sign and the house. I'll assume Mars and Neptune are not conjunct because you would probably would have said that.

Well it was more an example because that's one of the things one looks for in a synastry.

And yes is it conjunct.

I have Mars conjunct Neptune, Venus trine Neptune and Venus opposite Pluto; Mars sextile Pluto in my natal chart - and obviously - with everyone in my generation.

I usually experienced attractions only to *those* people in my generation who likewise had Venus/Mars to Neptune/Pluto aspects. In synastry we had double whammies.

:edit: If you were asking about others being attracted to you.
In my experience they are.

If you have certain aspects to generational planets and you are around a large group of peers from your generation (for instance - in highschool) - they will collectively react to you in a particular way (depending on the aspect).
But this does not mean you *yourself* will experience any kind of attraction in return. 9 times out of 10 you probably won't.

Outer planets aspect can have a very profound influence, but usually only if both people have personal planets involved in the aspect. To make it more individual.

And is Mars-Neptune really sexual attraction?
I was thinking it was more indicative of sexual fantasies?
But maybe it`s the same.

Sorry, I am confused now.
I have Mars ocnjunct Neptune with Mars in 12th and Neptune in 1st house and both on my ASC.

Actually thats what I was thinking before I posted this thread, I don't think that everyone in my generation is having sexual fantasies about me

OK, so how about this. How would my Mars conjunct their Neptune influence/affect them/me?

I've read in many places that hard synastry aspects between Mars and Neptune can lead to abuse, sadism and even murder.

Mars in the same sign of Neptune can show that one's action/temper/drive fits in the generation's ideals and visions.
Maybe the Mars person can be easier to be idealized by others of his/her generation. But then it depends, people with hard aspects to Neptune in their charts might not react the same as people with easy aspects to Neptune in their charts (coz they could have hard aspects to the Mars person's Mars).

Mars square Neptune in a synastry can also mean that the Neptune person can't understand or misunderstands or idealizes the Mars person's drives/actions/temper.

LOL. Well, I don't know about the generational thing but Maurice Fernandez always gives examples of the Mars-Neptune thing.

Why not?

It doesn't have to be everyone in your generation. Just the ones (lesbians & hetero men) whom you happen to *meet* and get to know.

If you are an attractive woman, most hetero men are likely to have some sort of sexual fantasies anyway (whether brief/common like undressing you with their eyes as you speak, or more elaborate).

With the Mars aspect on their Neptune - the likelihood is higher.

Thank God I am not attractive or beautiful. *wiping sweat from forehead*

Otherwise I might get a bit scared with my Neptune on my Mars and ASC.

Anyway regarding the "perversion / Murder" isseus - I have read this interpretation with all the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) in aspect to VEnus or Mars.
I think this would be an extreme expression, and has to be backed up by other natal constellations, and even then it is still a matter of free will.

I think the outer planets in hard aspects can get a little more extreme in their range of expression than most personal aspects, because it`s often a challenge to integrate them.
They are so much "out there", that it seems their effects are either felt not at all or very intense. Some kind of Either-Or scenario.

Oh my, don't creep me out like that I get many creepy starers who creep me out ANYWAY by just the staring (they are invading my bubble!!) now I'm gonna be wondering if they have dirty fantasies going on in their heads At least its a generational thing, I can relax about the old creepers O_O

About the murder thingy, good thing mine is conjunct Unless that makes me graceful about it

Lara,

I was talking about my outer appearance, not my natural inner beauty.

Crazy Aqua,

you noticed, didn`t you?
LOL
Yes, I really LOVE my Neptune in such a prominent position.
As I also love my Pluto on MC squaring Venus.
No, it`s not easy, but how boring would my chart be without it?

And that has been one of my greatest fears from childhood on, to annoy others with being uninteresting or boring.
