I was checking up on my transits when I found this curious pattern that is repetitive enough to rule out coincidence.

I've noted that transit Venus seems to influence my food habits way too much. When it makes harsh aspects like squares and oppositions or sometimes conjunctions with natal Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, my calorific intake falls to almost 10% of the normal value.

However, when it makes a sextile or trine aspect or a conjunction with the Moon or Neptune, I tend to eat more than normal.

Now I also have my Natal Venus in Libra in the 2nd house so this may factor in as well. I would like to get other Knowflakes' opinions on this.

I had three slices of veggie pizza, dipped into garlic butter, last night (in the space of about four hours). That's binging, for me, and Venus entered my first house last week.

Luckily for me, my stomach has settled a bit - whether the colostrum is working, or something else has helped. (I lost some weight in an unhealthy manner, because most foods wouldn't stay down.)

LOL!

I'm actually a couple of kilos underweight but when I go on a binge...STOCK UP!!!

My mother tells me that once when I was a seventh grader, I had 10 pancakes because I was hungry and then skipped the next three meals in a row!!! I haven't got a date but Venus was definitely involved

And I never seem to count potato chips as food

I do that, too. (Get a huge appetite for a day or so, and then barely have one for a while... like the body is balancing itself.) I'll have to make a note to pay attention to my transits at those times.

I find that my appetite relates to my cycle, so I've always related it to the Moon. Not sure how that fits with anyone else. I'm curious.

Finally get to meet the great PeaceAngel Hi.

I always relate the Moon to emotions so it could be a factor in being an emotional eater. Just saying. Also the Moon is far too fast moving to explain binging for 3-4 days.

MBlake81:
By transition, do you refer to a Kundalini rise?

Dwarf planet CERES might have to do with eating habits, too.
Moon definitely relates to eating, as Moon signifies the principle of "Intake" (and Sun is the principle of "output").
Venus of course as ruler of Taurus relates to eating, too, especially as "sensory satisfaction".

If Venus, Moon or Ceres are involved in difficult aspect configurations and are tied to the 2nd house (which also rules eating behaviour, along with other things), an eating disorder *could* develop.
I think Lady Di had Moon in 2nd house with stressful aspects?

Ceres in Pisces in 3rd house conjunct Jupiter and squaring Neptune exactly.
My appetite knows no boundaries.

On top of that I have Moon in 2nd house, peregrine (a little bit out of control, or at least out of balance).

Venus in 1st house, squaring Pluto.

I have my Moon, Ceres, and Venus in very picky or healthnut signs but my eating habits....O__o. They suck. Maybe it's the fact that my Venus is perigrine? I either undereat or go completely overboard.

I take the aspects more strongly into consideration, than the signplacement.

Well my Venus has no aspects, my moon is supported by Neptune, Pluto and Mercury, and Ceres is conjunct my Mars....making it the focal point in that nasty T-square involving Chiron and my Saturn/Uranus conjunction. Wow, mystery solved.

Moon Scorp - square Mars/NN
Venus Cancer - only positive aspected
Ceres Cancer - exact square Uranus (in 2nd house)

I've NEVER understood how people can eat animals (meat) and pisces. For me the idea of eating them is absolutely disgusting and not very different of eating human flesh.

Analyzing food and being extremely selective about what to consume was already part of me in the baby high chair, which drove my mom crazy.

Scorpio Moon conjunct IC...always stock up on food in my hostel, lest I run out, yikes!
