This is strange, but in 2003 when t pluto squared my n venus I lost 70 pounds in 6 months and I have always had a sizable appetite. I started exersizing compulsively and lost all desire for food. It lasted 2 years so I kept the wight off for about 3. Now I need to lose 70 pounds again. T pluto is conj my moon at 5 deg now, applying and i have lost all appetite for the last month, I'm not exersizing like with the pluto to venus transit, I'm emotional and partying, but I want no more food. In fact it is making me retch just trying to eat which is so weird for me just like the last major pluto transit! Has anyone experienced anything simular?? What is going on here?

From what I remember, Pluto conjunct my North Node (opposing Moon, Venus and Node, squaring Mars), + Saturn moving through my 6th, crossing my Aries planets - they all might have contributed to my losing weight (at the time, I barely ate anything, and had got into the habit of drinking one-quart of vegetable juice after some difficult exercise). I didn't need to lose weight, and didn't really notice until someone pointed it out to me - I'd shot down to 89lbs.

I also had a problem where my throat kept feeling as though it was closing up on me - I would rush to get something to drink... one night, I'd just finished making a mug of tea, so I swallowed a bit, and it eased it for me. That was when I was 21/22, in 1996/1997.

what do you have with moon/saturn or venus/saturn as transit>?

pluto also wants to expel....maybe it's a symbol of wanting to rid yourself of toxicity. and moon is how we nourish ourselves. what about healthy foods, are you drawn to those at all, or what house is pluto transiting. plus what house is it placed in natally, and what house does it natally rule??

pluto is placed in my 6th and rules my 7th natally and is currnetly just entering my 9th. Or still 8th in some charts. I'm in my saturn return and saturn is also squaring my natal moon right now, but i've had this before and never any anorexia. Only with pluto transits. When I eat I feel like it is just going to come up.

Pluto's energies, when they are out of balance, could indicate overly controlling tendencies. If that energy is tied to the physical body, then it makes sense that it may describe a desire to control in some way the intake of food. And yes, if Pluto is catharsis, I wonder if it's even more an indication of bulimia?

Like you said, a lot of people lose weight (happily) under Saturn. But again if the need to restrict gets too strong, it can also create anorexic tendencies, especially if Venus is involved. I had a friend who was borderline anorexic for a period of time while her transiting Saturn set off a T-square that included a natal Venus and Saturn.

If the planets don't 'make' anything happen, since they're linked to our intent in this lifetime and are describing our experiences, this info could be used to identify these tendencies early on...
