Ok from my understand my Leo sun is Domicile, since its the natural ruler of the sun. My Jupiter (rx) is also Domicile, since its in its natural sign of Sag. My Sun 16leo34 Moon 14leo45 Mercury(rx)14leo25 Both my Moon, and Mercury are weakened by the sun.. Meaning what my emotions/communications are blocked by my ego?? So to speak? IP: Logged |

I thought combust just referred to the Sun and mercury but I could be wrong. My mother has this in Aqua on the 12th house. I see a combust as the mind being too close to the ego/sense of self. It is like your sense of self being too close to your mind. In simple terms, it is hard to detach your ego from your thoughts. So, if someone says something mean , for example, you would take it very personly rather than pull back and see what was happening. It is being too close to yourself, if that makes sense. We, all , do that, as humans, I think. It is a matter of degree . Did any of this make sense .

I thought combust planets only mattered in electional/horary astrology, not in western psychological astrology.IP: Logged |

And I thought combust referred to any planet that is less than a degree away from the Sun. If it is over 1 degree away, it is simply conjunct and not combust. (That's what I read anyway). However, I did have a more 'professional' astrologer look at my chart once and tell me that my Venus was combust. It is more than a degree away from my Sun though... Sun: 2'57 Virgo; Venus: 0'27 Virgo. Maybe someone can clear this up for us... IP: Logged |
