The other thread gave me this crazy idea!

The MC persona shows the influences that we have in our chart,that take us to certain themes in our career.

Perhaps it is a good thing if we post our own MC Persona Chart and share what we do for a living,or our Career Dream Goals.

It will be a nice exercise to see if they appear in this type of chart =)

Mine definitely shows it!

--Neptune on asc,rules 3rd.i have a deep interest for spiritual awareness/discovering myself.im often very idealistic and prone to act more with my heart rather than my Mind.I do this in side-by-side relationships ( 3rd house).Neptune is also glamour/beauty so means im aware of these themes in the--another--since it oposes the stellium in 7th.

--NN cj Kiron cj Abundantia in 5th in GEMINI.these oppose Uranus/PF in sag.

this shows my desires to heal others,through my communication skills,sensitivity and creativity.It has to be something that is fun and playful too.

and this is tied with Uranus,the planet of change...creativity.

--sun/venus/ventura/mercury in the 7th ( house of others,partnerships,art,beauty,public Relations)in cancer:
so...the need to nurture,care for,help the "other" find their "beauty",through Art matters.
These trine Mars/saturn/pluto in the 10th in Scorpio.

Pluto is associated with change,renewal.Mars with energy and action.in Scorpio the sign of intensity and power.saturn,the planet of responsibility.ALL this in the 10th ( House of Ego,status,Reputation,Public Image..).

The sun/venus/merc/ also oppose Jupiter,placed in 1st cj my asc.

- Moon/rules the 7th is placed in the house of 6th,so another hint towards emotional self-fulfilling through service given to others.Moon is also about femininity.

So are you already hinting of what is my CAREER GOAL/PASSION?

In one sentence(by Eve): : transforming (Pluto on the MC) the other (7th house planets) through creative (Neptune) work (Saturn-Mars).

I'm not quite sure what I am looking for in a MC persona chart, but what I notice is my chart ruler in the 12th. This rules medical institutions which is where most of my jobs have been thus far, though at the moment I am working at an educational institution (university). I see working at this uni as temporary though. I enjoy medical work. All my roles have been customer service, even my short stint as a waitress... I was always getting into trouble for giving people too much food, being too nice (read: pushover!) .. etc That would probably be due to my natal Jupiter-Venus trine. Customer is always right!

My degree is in Western Herbal Medicine with a view to perhaps studying post-grad medicine, I at least want to keep this door open even if I decide to not go down this path.

Sun and Saturn conjunct the ASC .. I have found it a very hard road met with a lot of obstacles but it hasn't stopped me / swayed me since I decided to study natural therapies when I was 19.

I am drawing on my intuition moreso as I get older.. I feel that maybe before I was inexperienced with life and spiritually as well, and perhaps this is why the path was never so clear until this year, and why it was met with obstacles? I always knew I wanted to help others, but I wasn't sure how to do this, and getting my degree in natural therapies seemed like a fantasy. It's more real now.

When I get my degree I am going to have the biggest celebration!!!

I say when, because I WILL do it.. and am very focussed now. I've been gearing up for this to become my focus for the last year now. Not going to let relationships, house situations, money, social obligations get in the way of me achieving this (as has done so in the past).

i'm not sure what i'm looking for either. it seems poignant that all of the planets are in houses 8-11.

-Venus conjunct MC
art and creativity is definitely my passion. i sing, write, compose and arrange songs and music for myself as an artist as well as for musical theatre and other things. i crochet and knit. i cook. but music is my "career".

-Ruler of the MC/Jupiter in 11th house
Working with groups of people with similar ideas and beliefs. Searching for the truth.

-Sun,Mercury and Pluto in 8th
Transformation is definitely a theme that i have encountered recently in what it is that i hope to bring to the world. Of course Pluto is conjunct my MC in my natal chart. But with mercury there that does speak to my aspirations... Transforming myself and others through communication in music as well as books. I want to tell my story.

-Mercury ruler of 4th
That's really interesting. The book that I want to write is all about my roots...about my adoption story.

Therefore by looking at the house placement,aspects of the Sun, you can get a good idea of career,goal.

MC isn't just the career,goal. MC goes deeper than that. The cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers understand that. They view it as ego consciousness,spirit, the individual, the "I"

MC isn't always the 10th house cusp. It's not that way in Equal nor Whole sign house systems.

This goes especially for people living in the polar regions. Some people have few or no houses.

If that is the case, I think the house position is all that really matters. At least in my chart. The sun is making all of the same aspects that my MC does in my natal chart.

It's possible that my career could be linked to my death like a possible assassination, being killed because of ideological views.

12th house is associated with hidden enemies and with Mars in that house and square Uranus-Eris opposition, there can be something sudden and controversial in connected to hidden enemies. Murder is one of the mundane meanings that Philip Sedgwick listed for Eris.

Apart from that all other planets play a role, too, in regard to the persona chart`s theme

It probably makes sense to check especially those areas or planetary energies, that have a natural affinity with the persona chart`s theme.

I guess from what they were saying you need to look at the house and aspects of the sun.

As you can see mine is conjunct the ASC and Saturn. It seems to be important but I can't find out what it means exactly.

Since writing, my career has changed course completely. I achieved permanancy in my position at the university in the department of eLearning. They are willing to pay for me to get a degree and pay for it. It's not where I expected to be, but elearning/IT is something I seem to be good at as well.

Ok i'll have a crack at yours. Your mc persona sun is in 7th. This squares pluto to the same degree. Also it quincunxes neptune to the same degree. This brings house 10, 12 and 7 into play.

were we separated at birth?!?!?! I come from a family of doctors/nurses/psychologists.. i have my own skincare line business (that is on hold at the moment) but am selling some other skincare online. I used to work for a dermatologist as a receptionist/typist before I took on my current job.

When I move home I am going to be putting all my efforts into studying business and getting my biz (in skin care) off the ground. I also import raw products from other countries, for skin care products. Again the biz is on a hiatus at the moment but I intend to keep going with it All while working and studying in business IT. Yikes.

As long as you are happy that's all that matters. I am 'Office'ing (LOVE that show) at the moment but working my way up.

Okay aside from that, my first thought was that you should be in partnership with someone. Maybe you could co-CEO my business with me LOL
Your sun is in cancer cusp leo so I guess the restaurant thing could be a good place to be (and being a taurus sun) and you will be happy doing that.

Sun is in the 12th H in Libra opposite Mars in the 6th H in Aries.

I've worked in insitutions and I currently work for popular outdoor company selling clothing etc.

But I'm at odds with selling and being stuck in a insitution setting, I'd rather be independent and serve others individually, rather than working for a corporation.

The Sun is also trine Jupiter in the 8th H, I'll either work for a bank at some point or through handling other people's money in a institution setting, I'll make money?

But, the Sun is also exactly square Neptune in the 3rd, meaning I'm at odds with either having a practical job/ aspiration or a spiritual one.

My chart ruler - Venus is in the 10th H in Leo, this suggests that I will gain status through my creativity, and Mercury is conjunct the ASC. and sextile Venus, so communications and creativity are important.
