For example, my partner's Sun(4.47)/Moon(19.35) Midpoint is (near)Pisces 27/(far)Virgo 11

What is the the significance of "Far" in the Sun/Moon midpoint?


If my natal Sun is in 11 deg. Virgo, is that an important midpoint conjunction in synastry?

hmmm I think most astrologers only interpret the "near" midpoints..
But I'm bumping this because I'm also curious about "far" midpoints.
Anyone know if this is significant?

Isnt the far the opposition?

It's whats opposite of the midpoint.

most astrologers

observe

the following aspects to midpoints

conjunction,opposition,square,semisquare,sesquiquadrate


uranian astrologers also observe 22.5 degree series, 11.25 too


Noel Tyl astrologers also observe the 165 degree aspect


astrologers focus on the near midpoint,
but an object,point in opposition to the near point just merely means that it is conjunct far midpoint

shrugs.....they always observe oppositions to midpoints any way
