Odysseus/Ulysses was the King of Ithaca who fought in the Trojan War. He was the craftiest of the Greeks.
He went through trials and tribulations in his 10 year voyage from home after 10 years in fighting in Troy. Altogether he was gone for 20 years from his home.

I was wondering if Odysseus and Ulysses have to do with long journeys,far away from home,foreigners

It was a different story when I was in the US Navy though.

As the non profit organization really gets going and expands, there will be a lot of travel as I advocate neurodiversity.

I was wondering about long distance travel,faraway from home,foreigners in my next solar return that's on October 28th
I will have strong Jupiter/Sagittarius/9th house theme. I was wondering about Ulysses,Odysseus finetuning that to put more emphasis on long distance travel,far away from home,foreigners.

I also wonder about relationships,romance in connection to long distance travel,far away from home,foreigners in general

I have no conclusions. That's why I said that I was wondering.
I wanted people to share any insights that they might have about Odysseus and Ulysses as well as any other asteroids that may have to do with long distance travel.

but my Odysseus is in 11'10 Aquarius conjunct the North Lunar Node in 10'30 Aquarius in 5th and trine the Midheaven in 11'14 Gemini

that would indicate making connections,associations with others via career

so yeah....business can be involved

of course, 5th house is romance

I have Tyr in 11'09 Libra in 2nd trine the Odysseus-North Lunar Node conjunction and Midheaven

Tyr is named after the Norse God of War

That would seem to indicate that long distance travel,far away from home,foreigners is connected to business.

Juno trines the conjunction, and so marriage,committed relationships,partnerships can be involved.

That seems like long distance travel,far away from home,foreigners connected to business,work involving communications.

Poseidon looks like could mean going "overseas"
I don't see myself taking a cruise of any kind.

For example:
I have Heliocentric Odysseus Nodes,Geocentric North Odysseus Node square my Odysseus-North Lunar Node conjunction and South Lunar Node. I have Geocentric South Ulysses Node sextile/trine all that.
all aspects are within 1 degree orb

also if you use this site, all you have to do is type the name and don't have to worry about the numbers

3 degrees for conjunction,opposition,trine,square
2 degrees for sextile
1 degree for semisextile,quincunx,semisquare,sesquiquadrate,quintile,biquintile

1/2 degree for sextile unless its aspecting an axis like lunar nodes,MC/IC,Asc/Desc,East Point/West Point,Antivertex/Vertex
I don't look at any minor aspects

1 degree for all the ptolemaic aspects

I use the same orbs for the centaurs and transneptunians too

but

I'd probably use slightly wider orbs for the dwarf planets (Eris,Pluto-Charon,Makemake,Haumea,and Ceres)and the named dwarf planet candidates (Sedna,Orcus,Quaoar,Varuna,and Ixion)

i spent 21 years abroad and did a LOT of travelling during that time(i worked on the road)... i married a foreigner AND my daughter's moon conjuncts my ulysses and juno ...

the only thing i have in 9th house is musa! this fits a musician spending time on the road to a T...

edit: going back to locate musa, i have now come up with ulysses conj odysseus at 12 and 13 aries...not sure what happened there, tho i assume i put in the wrong asteroid code! except that it said ullysses 10 leo 5 minutes ago!!??? going daft...

My dad used to travel a lot for work (even going away for months at a time)... he was in Malaysia for the State Department when he met my mom. His Odysseus/Ulysses conjunction is in Libra in his 9th.

What about Right Ascension,Declination,Geocentric Nodes,Heliocentric Nodes. Those are also relevant because of their astronomical relevance.

That's what I mean by Multidimensional Astrology.

We tend to look at the sky from only one angle and not from other angles.

any ways...Odysseus,Ulysses could be strong in those ways.
