Do certain aspects/transits block or cause dreams?

Basically do transits or natal aspects have any affect on your dreams?

When I was younger I only had nightmares, of someone trying to kill me, this lasted from early child hood until late 20's.. Then I went over 5 years w/o remembering any dreams.

Just this last year I started to somewhat remember my dreams. I remembered 2 dreams, that involved disasters, war, fire.. These I do remember.

Only now there is a block. I know I dreamed, I know it was weird, I get the feeling I know who was in the dream, but yet I can barely remember anything about the dream. Sometimes I just know I dreamed but have no clue what it was about.

I did semi remember one, but Its still really vague.

Right now I have transit Neptune in the 12th, could that be it?

The reason why I bring this up,is because I feel like Im missing something important. I feel like the dreams are important.. but I cant remember them. Not even when I first wake up..I cant even remember them long enough to write the dream down..

hum...dreams my favorite topic. Well, let's see. I don't know about astrology but yeah I would totally be looking at neptune if I were you, that was my first hit and the fact that it is transiting your 12th makes sense that it is all subconscious!

But I am going to try a different tactic with you, something I use in my dream work all the time and is apart of my shamanic bag of dreamwork tricks...okay..here is something simple. When you wake up..lock on whatever it is that you wake up with..a feeling, a image..whatever. Don't necessarly give that feeling or what happened too much credit..don't dismiss it mind you but...anyways, tap into that feeling that you have...really sit in it. Then think in your life, what causes that exact feeling. Once you find that situation, do you remember what happened in your dream? does it give you any insight? if you want, you can totally get in touch with me about your dream and I can help talk you through it, but ultimately, it is your dream, and therefore..you make the call/shots on it. but love to help if I can

The only feeling that I get, is that Im missing something, and who is in the dream. I know who is in the dream, even though I cant remember or see them, or the face is somehow covered..

The only dream that I can somewhat remember is I was deep see diving with someone also in scuba gear face was covered. I was at the bottom of the ocean, and my suit malfunctioned. Or I ran out of air.. My suit had a safety device that would fill with air, and then float to the top. SO thats what my suit did. As I was floating to the top... I was on top of the water looking down into the water, and I was seeing myself come up.... Then I was back under the water floating up, and a hand reached in the water and grabbed me.

I know there is more before and after this part, but this is all I can remember.

Seeleah.

I took a nap today, and I had another dream, I woke up and I said to myself ok this dream was about______________.... I immediately fell back asleep.. Im not sure if I continued the dream or started a new one.. I remember dreaming.. I remember saying remember this remember this..
Then my son woke me up asking for pizza.. So then I got up.. I said what was my dream about, and now all I can remember is pizza... (sigh)

I just cant remember any part of it.. I just remember me telling myself in my dream to remember this.. Its very frustrating..

Why cant I remember any dreams..

Um, by reading one of your posts, I became interested in this theme of things happening in your life..do you scuba dive? first off have to ask because of the whole thing to make sure this isn't a predicting dream..but if you don't (which I am thinking this probably isn't a predicting dream) I get the impression, if it were my dream, that maybe it has something to do with an issue in your life that takes you very deep. Too deep sometimes for you to be able to remain in that issue for long periods. But you have a "safety net" that helps rescue you when you get in too deep, like a built in safety net with this issue or with issues in general. However, there is either someone or something that wants to "drag" you back down deep into the situation after you come up for air. What's going on in your life that takes you deep, that occassionally you need to come up for air when things get a bit scarey but wants to keep you deep and drag you back down? tap into that feeling that dream gave you..think of an image there...now tell me, what in your life makes you feel simiular to that feeling? just asking

Lioness,

Natally, I have 12H Sun square 3H Neptune.
I get premonition dreams sometimes, or dreams about my past lives. I tend to remember my dreams, from pointless ones to remembering having astral travelled over to the otherside & hanging out there lol.

I've never took the time to track transits and how they affect my dreams though...

Seeleah,

No, I dont scuba dive.

Wow.. Im really impressed with your interpretation skills. I never would have thought of putting it that way, but yes it does make a lot of sense.

Wow I was thinking these dreams were about Leo and Pisces.. Only now I think my ex husband may be in the dreams also.. I wish I could see face's.
Im going to keep track of these dreams.. See who I spoke with the day prior..
I was thinking about this and I "think" (not sure) I speak to my ex before I have these dreams..

But I can honestly see how both of them pull me down into levels I dont want to be at..
So I just simply disappear. Feeling I need to get away.. But cant seem to go totally away..
My Leo friend, talks to me about anything.. He understands and gives me time to vent.. But he's not always available...

Curious: What post did you read, that gave this more thought?

Oo Im full of vents today!

My husband got HIMSELF, into a situation, and everyone is blaming me because I refuse to help him out of it.. But Im done thats his problem, he knew the consequences, and chose to do it anyways.. Now everyone wants me to step up and fix it! Well Im not going to do it... I CANNOT get myself involved in his issue's anymore... His family wont talk to me, or even call to see HIS son... I feel abandoned. I did nothing wrong, yet its my fault, because I wont help...

One day they were babysitting, and called me at work to come and pick him up,so they could go to a party.. So I left work... I later found out, the party was his lil cousins B-day party. I guess he wasnt invited! They couldnt even take him to a kids party????????? WTF!!!!!!!

Thats the last time I talked to them, that was over 6 months ago... They live 5 mins away!! SOOO screw IT!!!

you made two post in this particular thread..I think I was referring to the first one? anyways that is what I got from it. I do alot of dreamwork, and honestly that is alot of what shamans do..work with dreams, navagate through dreams and travel the dreamscapes and know your dreaming techniques...takes time to master and what I did was pretty basic. Actually Robert Moss uses this techniques and his books on dreaming are very helpful if you might want to look into it.

you know, I had a thougth here..but this COULD TOTALLY BE ME PROJECTING MY OWN CRAP ONTO YOUR SITUATION!!!!!!!!!! SO PLEASE READ WITH THAT IN MIND!

the imagery of the water and going deep really stuck with me. Mermaid is an ally I have worked with for many years..which makes sense since I have heavy neptune and a 12h sun in cancer. Anyways, one of neptunes' many issues is drug abuse..and addiction in ALL forms (drug, food, alcohol..control, whatever)...anyways, what it sounds like with the whole family thing is with the hubbie or ex (can't remember what you said if they were ex or current) but the family being mad at you for not "fixing" his situation..it sounds like they were ****** that you didn't enable him..in his wrong actions...pple who are with pple that have addictions in some form, usually live with pple that have codependant or enabling tendencies (I do for sure and am working on this big time)...and when the person who enables says NO! everyone around them gets furious! because you won't play the game anymore..Also, that "they" wanted to pull you down into their "game" again..or in this case of the dream, the water/addictive behavior pattern or dynamic..the imagery of water/neptune came to me when I was listening..but on this point, since it hits a subject so close to home for me...it could be complete utter crap..but, if it helps..cool. sorry if this is too personal

Well he does have drinking issues. I dont drink at all.. But this is not what they want me to fix. It's a lot more complicated than that. But the problem is linked to his drinking, but the "family" is not concerned with that..
If anyone, they would be the one's giving him beer.. I did tell him, keep drinking and you will loose your family.. Which did happen, but due to "other" unexpected circumstances.

I know this may not make sense.. Its just a long awful, story, I really dont want to totally get into publicly.
Regardless Im done with it, and have moved on.. I have just completely and totally taken my self out of the situation. I have told the husband, that I cant be involved and I wont.. That he would have to find a way to "fix" it w/o me.. He agreed. But Im to blame (shrug) LEt them think what they want... I dont care anymore.. I cant sit here and justify myself to people that have formed an opinion based on opinions verses fact.

Ironically, the exact situation happen, with his niece and her bf, she left him, and they said that was for the best... hummmmmmmmmm
Double Standard!

I rarely see him, and when I do its just to drop my son off/or pick him up..

shrug... what a mess...

wow...so I was right that what this all was about was related to addictions...because addicts and enablers go hand in hand..and yeah..pple outside of the relationship can and will "blame" the enabler for not coming in and "fixing" the problems in certain situations...when really it was the addicts fault not the enablers..and when you don't rush in to fix it..they scream they want justice! it's normal in this type of dynamic but this whole situation is totally written all over your dream hon. I wish you luck and feel free to get in touch with me if you want to talk..I can offer support..and I could use the support too

Well sort of.. but not totally...

No one is blaming me for the alcohol. I really think they could care less.. Its the unexpected thing that happen, they they are mad about... They dont think I am the "cause" of the event.. but feel I should fix this.. I cant fix it.. (nothing to do with alcohol) I wont involve my self in this... I cant I have to think about myself and my kids here, and I have to do whats right.. I have no doubts that I have done the right thing...

I know it may not make sense.. I just dont want to get into details here..
