A cousin of mine (one of about 30 known) with whom I am very close, emotionally and chronologically (as she's 5 weeks younger than I am) is essentially my sister. Some cultures make no distinction between sisters, brothers, and cousins. They're all the same. Anyway, we had a big blowout last December and yesterday I received two cards in the mail from her asking me to call her.

Yesterday I began a flurry of reading; today I began a flurry of essay writing on a collection of topics that have been on my back burner for years.

I just planned an extended weekend to Chicago, which temporally is a sort trip and, for me, spatially a short trip. Also today, my mom called me to go on a Sunday drive to look at the fall colors, however, I declined. I have too much writing to do after all.

Could it also be that on Oct 10 the transiting Sun conjuncts my natal Mercury. Also Oct 10 transiting Mercury conjuncts my natal Mercury. Transiting Saturn is conjunct my natal Mercury now and for the next couple of months, while also transiting my 3rd house. Usually I look with trepidation at Saturn, but in its positive aspects it should be seen as providing discipline to the house/planet, instead of the wet blanket & malefic it is in the negative aspects.
