Hey fellow LLers, I have been talking about our site to a lot of people and telling them about the wonderful experience I have had with all of you. Guess I bragged a bit too much. One of my colleagues has been after me to post the chart for her and her SO.She is insistent that I get an opinion about their relationship. Can you please help? I am posting their synastry chart. Just to stay basic.. I think the inside blue one, likely she, is more touched/hopefully by the 'relationship' than the other. The Moon (= chartruler) nor Sun (if I see it right) of the outside red one doesn't make any aspect to planets of *her*, which I think isn't a very good sign for real solid commitment.IP: Logged |

Thanks Mir, What does it denote if these charts are progressed charts? Do the same rules apply to progressed charts as to natal ones?

Same here, I still don't understand the way progressed charts work. And am trying to learn more, so can anyone help? If these were progressed charts what does it mean?IP: Logged |

If these were progressed charts, then I would say that this relationship is potentially very one sided. Like Mir said, it seems like the inside person has more of an attachment to the outside person than the outside person has to the inside. Progressed charts are the same as a natal chart, except they are used to describe the CURRENT state of an individual as opposed to inherent natures.IP: Logged |

Hey Amowls, How do you decide a one-sided relationship? They both have sun in each other's 7th house. Mars is conjunct NN and close to venus. Jupiter is conjunct the moon. How does one decide which partner is more attracted than the other? And does this mean that my colleague has no chance in this relationship?IP: Logged |

One more query-I tried doing my progressed chart in astro.com I have problems. If I use the natal to get the time for the progressions and then use the same time that is indicated in the progressed the natal chart to make an independent progressed chart my Asc is in a different sun sign. For eg: If I chart my natal and progressed it says progressions for 7th Oct 10 15.03 UT and the same birthplace with say Scorpio Asc. I use the same date and time in UT the Asc now is Cancer. How do I set it right?IP: Logged |

Inside Sun is in outside's 6th (as well as Mercury and Jupiter). Outside Sun and Mercury are in inside's 7th.Also inside is the node person, they would be more affected by outside's Mars. I don't know how to set your progressions right without tampering with the time, tbh. When comparing progressed charts I just right down all the planetary positions and compare it that way. I wouldn't say that they have no chance, but if it were me, it would make me pause. IP: Logged |

Hey Amowls, The 7th house for the outside chart is cap and the sun from the inside chart falls in cap house. so will it not be in the 7th? i had to tamper with the time to get the chart to match the progressions chart that I initially see. so the timing is waay off and the planets are note xactly in the right degrees but close to it.IP: Logged |

I mean, if you use whole sign houses the inside Sun falls in the outside's 7th. But I don't use whole sign houses.IP: Logged |

I did not use whole sign houses to set the charts used Placidus and that is the way the charts are denoted here. In the whole sign too the sun falls in the 7th house. So it is a DW for the sun in 7th house theme. I am looking for positives to tell her since it is so easy to point out all the bad aspects and I guess she is hoping for a bit of cheer when she asked me to get an opinion.IP: Logged |
