Hoping that some one could help me with making me fill less worried with this. I am getting married next year 27th june in Antigua. When planning the date I was careful to avoid a mercury retrograde but have just become aware of a moon that is void of course on the day I marry my lovely fiance. I was really happy with the numerolgy side of thing too. How concerned should I be about this and what could I do to counteract the negative side of this.IP: Logged |

why not change the date? you avoid a mercury retrograde to maximise communication between the two of you yet forget about the emotions? what's going on with your moon? however the last aspect before is a sextile to mercury which is okay, just a question but is communication the most important thing to you? if it is then i wouldn't worry too much but personally speaking if you've gone to all this trouble to get a favourable date I'd be looking to avoid a void xxxxmercury is in cancer that day but interestingly we have venus and mars in gemini...mercury again, IP: Logged |

Thanx dysfunctional mystic for replying. I didn't know any thing about moons being void of course before this week!! I'm still just blundering my way through astrology and am far from being an expert. Changing the date is pretty much impossible due to the amount of time we need to be in Antigua before we can legally marry and the length of our guests stay. Communication is very important to me but emotions are of no less importance especially when my moon is in Scorpio and my sun sign is Pisces. My fiance is a Libran with moon in Virgo.IP: Logged |

this wedding is 9 months away...can't you fix the time so the moon is not void? i just threw a chart for noon that day and the moon is sextile mercury at noon and a degree before semisextiling venus. nothing wrong with that for a wedding chart!? i would be more worried about the tsquare to the chart's sun from uranus (on the DSC) and pluto on the IC...and saturn is close enough to fill that out really. i would definitely not want this chart to ALSO have a void moon but what time are you planning to marry?IP: Logged |

My feeling is to change it--just based on intuition, not the charts. ------------------ Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend. IP: Logged |

personally i would not want to get married OR have a child with this t-square dominating the skies...but that is just me! and june 27th puts the sun in right where it makes a grand cross. a couple of months either direction and it is not functional, but then maybe you like major challenges from the collective energies of saturn, uranus, pluto and the sun!IP: Logged |

Planning to marry later on in the day about 4pm when its cooler but that hasn't been confirmed by the hotel yet. Do you think that the numerology is as important. Thank you everyone for your comments. (sound like x factor!) What sort of major challenges are we talking about katatonic?IP: Logged |

while i think it can be good for a relationship and very good for a natal chart, a wedding is a contract and the VOC moon is notorious for negating those...though i am not a big believer in superstition attached to charts. the same energies that are pushing and pulling the general consciousness are the ones that form the t-square in this chart. the fact that they are on the AC/DC/IC points would indicate that there might be a few power struggles, individuality urges conflicting with duty, shadow stimulation, etc. not necessarily bad if you are really willing to witness selftransformation through the vehicle of your relationship, but certainly no walk in the park? but then maybe the VOC moon will add a measure of fun and relaxation that wouldn't be there without it? quote: Good * Waxing Moon trine or sextile Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, or Neptune. Moon conjunct Sun, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune. * Venus is strongest in the signs of her rulership and exaltation: Taurus, Libra, Cancer and Pisces. * One of the easiest ways to strengthen the chart is to pick a time when Venus or Jupiter is close to the Ascendant, Midheaven or 7th house cusp of the chart. The Midheaven is especially important. * Venus (love) trine or sextile Saturn (stability, endurance and tradition). Other planets in easy aspect to Saturn are also good. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter. * Venus, Sun, Moon, Mercury, or Saturn trine, sextile, conjunct, or opposite Jupiter is lucky, optimistic and bounces back from trouble easily. Mars with Jupiter is especially lucky. * Venus conjunct, trine, sextile or opposite Mars supports a healthy sex life. * Venus, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, or Saturn in easy aspect to Neptune supports compassion and spiritual growth. Avoid * Venus retrograde * Waning or void of course Moon * Venus conjunct, square or opposite Saturn. Saturn stabilizes but can be like a wet blanket on Venus. It may work if there are other planets in supportive aspects (trine, sextile) to the conjunction or opposition. You definitely don’t want anything else squaring it. * Moon conjunct or square Mars, Saturn, or Pluto. * Venus in the signs of her detriment and fall: Scorpio, Aries, Capricorn and Virgo. These signs may work if Venus is very well aspected, strongly placed, and in harmony with both natal charts. * Mars under stress (squares, oppositions, some conjunctions) is passionate and sexual, but can also indicate fighting and arguments. * Saturn, Uranus, or Mars in an angular house (unless Mars is conjunct Venus).
