I have a question about this chart. It interesting because his 1st house starts at 26 degrees Sagittarius and then it continues throughout Capricorn, but then the 2nd house doesn't start until Aquarius. It is also the same case with the 7th house starting in Gemini....So are there two rulers of the 1st house and two rulers of the 7th house? Thanks!IP: Logged |

The ruler of a house is the sign on the cusp, not the intercepted sign. IP: Logged |

the ruler is Jupiter (ruler of Sag, sign on the cusp) and co-ruler is Saturn (ruler of Capricorn, intercepted sign). same for the 7th house. IP: Logged |

No no no, there are no co-rulers for Sag. The ruler is where the first house cusp is (aka your ascendant). Since it is Sag, it is Jupiter. Ignore the intercepted sign.IP: Logged |

Nope, intercepted signs are pretty common, I have a pair of them as well. They don't affect the ruler of your chart or the ruler of the house where they're located in general, but might give it a twist. I can feel the Sag-theme somewhat in my 4th house, although it starts in Scorpio and ends in Capricorn.IP: Logged |

Do not ignore the intercepted sign, especially in your 1st house. You'll understand when something stresses out your natal Saturn and a health issue pops up having to do with your bones, or knees or teeth or skin. Don't ignore it.But when people ask you what your rising sign is, you tell them you are a Sagittarius Rising. Jupiter rules your chart, but it is co-ruled by Saturn. But it's Jupiter first. You are a Sagittarius Rising. IP: Logged |

i have a similar question...i had read somewhere how to tell the chart ruler but i'm not sure if its true or not so my question is simple, how can you tell the chart ruler?------------------ Early in the morning, in the middle of the night Two men got up to fight Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other If you dont believe my story is true, ask the blind man who saw it too :P IP: Logged |

NickiG, your chart ruler is the ruler of your Ascendant, ie. if you're Sag rising it'd be Jupiter.IP: Logged |

amowls*, hunthe co-ruler is for the house, not for Sag. each and every house that has a sign (a whole sign) intercepted, also has a co-ruler. IP: Logged |
