Topic: strongest felt aspect?

whats the consensus here by the 'astrologers' (though everyone is welcome) for what aspect is the strongest felt? im guessing its between conjunction, opposition and square. which do we feel the strongest from anothers personal planets aspecting our own? what are your experiences? explain your opinion or conclusion with your reasons if you can.. perhaps all 3 are equal and it comes down to orb? though from my research here of peoples experiences, this isnt so. perhaps we give orbs more credit than they deserve, in fact i dare to say orbs are overrated. we feel a persons planet or we don't, that simple, orbs haven't been consistent in this, ask others who've had exact mars venus conjunctions with one and not another and its a contradiction? I think astrologers agree on the conjunction.I am thinking of my current synastry.
I think if I had to hone it down ,it would be his Pluto trine my unaspected Venus ,exact.
I think that if you have an unaspected planet, it exaggerates the strength of an aspect.

I'd say the conjunction unless you want a karmic opposition or a stressful square.The strongest aspect i've felt to date with someone else is definitely AC cj AC exact. Nothing else comes close to it imho. IP: Logged |

Do you mean synastry or natal?I think it depends-on planets and houses and on the "theme" of your natal chart.I have a very tight Uranus ASC conjunction-but I feel it somehow subconscious, like an undercurrent; although I have to admit-as I'm growing older I'm feeling it more and more. There is also a Venus(9th) Uranus square and Moon(7th) Uranus opposition, which are felt quite strongly, too. So, Uranus aspects-all of them are very strong in my chart. On the other hand, there are Neptune(2nd) aspects-trine Venus and square Sun Mercury(10th) conjunction-also very present and sometimes even uncomfortable. I'd mention Lilith Vertex conjunction in 8th, too. So, I'd say that conjunction is the strongest, then oppositions and squares, but it's certainly not definite. IP: Logged |

Okay....I would say conjunction first!
Second would be squares, then oppositions. However, I do think that the orb does matter  strongest I felt? idk, my ex and now kind of current bf and I have a ton of conjunctions, suns conjunct, venus/eros conjunct, psyche/mars conjunct..(and my venus squares his mars), nessus conjunct my moon, my lust conjuncts his descendant...*sighs* and of course, our moon square in sign though as well as our mars square in sign (so odd) and we have venus oppose neptune too...soooo weird. to me, Conjunctions (unions) are strong, they are saying yes and moving forward. Squares are a challenge...like saying, "your threatening me!" and begged to be resolved. Oppositions are like a seesaw in my opinion, sometimes they just keep going up and down but sometimes you can find a balance... so...just my thoughts. IP: Logged |

Exact aspects.Exact conjunctions may be the strongest felt, though the connection is sometimes so instant and merging, your mind may be too slow to catch up with it. IP: Logged |

I find conjunctions and oppositions stronger than trines and squares, however, I think it really depends on the degrees. An exact opposition is going to have more impact than a 6 degree conjunction. I find that fits natal or synastry.IP: Logged |

It's a tie for me between Asc conj Asc to the degree with someone and Moon conj Venus to the degree with someone else. IP: Logged |
