I'm wondering what are your thoughts on which aspects can show a certain inclination to display an agressive/violent behaviour in men?

Aflicted sun/Moon/venus with mars/sat/pluto?

Of course I think- it's always best to analyze each individual chart and not make generalizations - but I was just wondering about general astrological aspects which could be considered under that theme.

And what got me thinking into this- is that this year I have met 4 women who conffesed about a violent husband. And they all happened to be Leos. Of course, having the same sun sign might be pure coincidence- and I dont know their birht charts anyway.

Hello guys!

Interesting.

I remembered 2 more cases of leo men (who happened to be mate with aries women) and they were the "king" of the houses. absolutely dominant.

I think an afflicted Mars should be highligthed as an indication of violent behaviour both in male/female charts

I once had a Leo friend who had several relationships with violent men. At least one guy was an Aries.

Well i have to agree about the Leo. Everyone i khow is dynamic, agressive and possibly violent. Women too! But Aries no.. i love them! They are very impulsive though. I think a hard aspect with mars and pluto would do things worse.

I've known of a few aries men that were violent towards their SO.

A few scorps.

And a few Pisces.

Nothing ties the violence together, via shared aspects.

The aries and scorp make sense off the top of the head, because both are ruled by potentially violent planets.

Pisces has neptune, which I guess can go off its rocker, because it's as unpredictable as uranus, but like uranus on hallucinogens, which is scary as all get out.

Anyway, any sign can be violent. a lot has to do with their maturity and emotional development, family background, etc.

They would be violent for different reasons, maybe. Like leo for ego, scorpio for power and control, aries because they have no self control over their emotional outbursts, pisces because they can't deal with their overwhelming feelings and/or they imagine you did something.

I believe iQ is right in pointing towards afflictions with Saturn and Nessus.

That seems to be the missing component with some of these people.

Otherwise, I'm always leary of bad Scorpio influences... also the fire/air signs with indicators of emotional issues... like afflicted moon or venus placements.

I know ONE! Definitely an Aries (moon Cancer).. he had been in the army for a long time and I was shocked to hear how easy he could use certain abhorrent types of violence (he told me) and besides that.. when our relationship ended in a way he couldn't appreciate.. he did something very agressive to me - that's when I thought; wow, it's true!! You are REALLY agressive~!
I don't attract such types anymore..

I've personally never seen any nessus aspects in the many charts of criminals and predators I study. Doesn't mean it's not true, but maybe it's not *always* there.

I do see: Pluto, Sat, Uranus, and sometimes neptune. Always.

I notice a good proportion of abusers have either moon or mars square venus. Not all though, but it's there a lot.

Diana,

What aspects with Pluto to natal planets are some that cue your suspicion of abuser personality.

Do you have other aspects to share that stick out in mind whenever you're analyzing a chart? I mean, like Neptune, Saturn square, quincunx, Mars square in 8th house, etc...

Aspects are very important when it comes to personal traits. A Moon conjunct Mars in Virgo can be more aggressive/impulsive than a Moon conjunct Venus in Aries.

A guy I knew that was abusive to me was a leo with a scorpio mars...and his pluto squared my sun too. don't know if that has anything to do with it, wished I would have paid attention to nessus

oh yeah and his mars conjuncted my uranus and my neptune conjuncted his ascendant...

and his venus conjuncted my ascedant by 1 degree ord. I think all the aspects I mentioned were 5 or less.

Fenia- yes you are right as well a hard aspect btw mars and pluto could be an indication.

I love Leos! I know a lot of men and women with that sun that are wonderful!. Actually it's my fav sun sign

So, don't get me wrong- I'm not saying they are violent. And was shocked to hear the story of 4 women whose husbands happened to be Leos.

I was just wondering what hard aspect could point towards a violent behavour.
Just like hard aspect to neptune could point to escapist behaviour.

What Diana said is interesting as well!- different motivations to different signs.

I can't remember where my ex husband was born, so I can't make up his chart. His family was military, and he could of been born here or abroad, I just cannot remember.

My Dad has no TOB on his certificate, so I'm not sure that would be useful either.

I agree, I've also checked it out because It's easy to me to get their birthtime and I cant either see something special about nessus here, I'm sorry.

My opinion are also that saturn in neg aspect more stop and hold up behaviour and expression of feeling than make things explode out of life.

Hard aspect in bad combination from mars, pluto, moon, merk and
uranus bring out agressive of people and if they do not can handle it right they sometimes be dangerous.

I'm happy I never been in a relationship to any dangerous agressive man.

quickly browsing through so didn't read all the posts, but my step-father from childhood was a very soft and weak guy, but with a short temper. i remember on occasions he hit me and broke objects. he was a Leo, don't know anything other than that.

The main aspect I've noticed for aggression is a Mars/Pluto opposition in natal.

I'd say - you can't go by Sun signs alone but I am surprised at how *many* Leo people have been mentioned in this thread lol

Maybe it comes down to the way we interpret aggression.. (How much aggression is *too* much?)
I know several Leos and I would not venture to call any of them "aggressive" - but that's my own perspective (and I have an Aries Sun) - so potentially: what I see as an "average" & insignificant argument could be interpreted as violence/aggression by a more peace loving Libra/Taurus/Cancer/Virgo influenced person.
