You think the reason this is said and is generally considered true in terms of relationship is because of the Descendant? Your Asc is the sign opposite of the Desc and that is what we are generally attracted to. Is this the source?! :O

I think it's strange in opposition with Asc from Sun that so often the attraction isn't mutual..but it is a real situation of opposites...ie, sometimes it's the Asc person, sometimes it's the Sun, but that opposition is hardly ever mutual.

But in general, I think you're on the right track, just regarding qualities.

I think there was only one case where my sun was in the guy's 7th house. The attraction was mutual there, although I do suspect that that was because the guy was drop dead gorgeous and I tend to be lead on by appearance too every now and again - then again, who could say no to a drop dead gorgeous guy who is smitten with you?

As for myself, for some reason I've never even been attracted to the entire first half of the zodiac; I always end up being attracted to those people that are between my 10th and 4th houses

That's funny, in my experience it's always the Sun person who's more attracted.
Either my Sun on their Dsc, or with them then their Sun was on my Dsc.
I just need someone born around Jan 23rd with 2 Virgo rising and I'll be set.
