I don't know how to post the chart up!!!!!
I am hoping someone can do that for me...
Question was asked at 09:03 am, 20th October 2010...
It's been my life long ambition to be a singer-songwriter. I have written some songs that need to be developed... can I make a successful career from this if I put my energy into it?
I appreciate any and all help!

Well, as you know I'm probably not the best person to read a horary chart, but I'm a little confused about the question...

If the question is whether you will be successful in a career as singer/songwriter... should we look at the 10th house of career, or at the 5th house of arts? I know the moon is important in horary and it's in the 5th house and conjunct Jupiter (expansion, luck, success)... so maybe that's saying something.

Jupiter is retrograde though. Again, not sure if that has any meaning in horary. It's the 5th house ruler, too.

If I look at the 10th house, the sun is in 12th and that probably isn't too good (then again, with my own sun in 12th it's hard to view even a horary sun in 12th as good - and again, I really don't know enough about horary to really make assumptions... I always find I start reading them as if they were natal charts ), but it's conjunct mercury.

Anyway, hope someone who is better with horaries will look at it, and I probably wasn't much help here. I hope you will make it, though. What kind of music is it? If you do become an established artist I could help boost sales by buying a few copies of your CD?

Thanks Aya!
I'm a little confused about how to interpret the chart myself, whether it's 5th house or 10th house or the Moon that would be the main significator. I don't like those retros lol
It's like folk rock easy listening, not really sure how to put a label on it but I'll possibly send you a link....maybe if I get the guts to lol

Well I happen to love folk rock, so if you do find the courage, send that link over!

I dunno...horary is kind of for short-term answers I feel sometimes, or if something will happen, etc... This is huge question. Why don't you look at your chart, and follow your heart about this???!

The chart says YES a great deal, and it also feels like it's the most natural thing for you to do. So I think you know your answer.

You / Scorpio (Mars) square the MC which is yes as well...but it also looks like you have to show a lot of persistence. But it's interesting too because you show a lot of tenacity as Scorpio Mars

The moon is always a co-significator. You are indicated by that and by the rising sign.
As far as 'success' goes in this case, I would look at both the 5th and the 10th, though the 10th would bear importance since it is the outward career.

You would count aspects to the Sun, then, and to the MC. It's interesting that the sun is in the 12th. It makes it seem like you find your goals somehow unattainable from time to time.

Thanks MVM,
I know I just have to take a risk but as it is my dream!
It does seem unattainable, you are right about that, I was worried about that 12th house Sun and Saturn in the 11th house of aspiration!
Love you guys!
