Hi everyone!
I'm very happy to be here and hope I am posting in the right section. To be perfectly honest, I don't know that much about astrology but I do know that Sagittarius and Cancers aren't really a great match to begin with. I am a Sag female but I am not a typical Sagittarius--I am NOT adventurous or flighty, I don't get bored of 'men' and jump ship. I'm very shy and socially awkward and much prefer a quiet evening at home over going out. [deleted] I hope someone out there can shed some light on my Cancer male!

Please put up his chart and yours and don't ever go by sun signs alone. There are a lot of sun signs who are supposedly incompatible that get along great in relationship, just as there are harmonious ones who don't work out at all.
There's a helluva lot more to astrology than the generic 'pop science' of sun signs. IP: Logged |

You are gonna need to post the whole chart for a full story as I can't tell you whether you two are really compatible based on Sun signs alone.
BUT, I can tell you that if you want to be with this cancer you're gonna have to accept his 'mystic' cycle of moods or move on. Its really just in our nature. Sorry.

I know for a fact that most people would have a hard time reading those charts. It'd be better if you got them from astro.com (it's free too). IP: Logged |

Can I ask just one more favor? (Sorry!) Post the synastry chart between you too? I know it sounds like Im being really particular, but it would be good if you did so I can see how you two actually mesh.
I can tell you right now that him running hot and cold is his Cancerian nature (I am one too, btw). The Gemini Ascendant and Stellium doesn't help much either for stability....I sense that he's very scattered and somewhat aloof when it comes to the emotional side of things...even if very friendly. His cancer sun and venus wants to go deeper (emotionally) but his gemini stellium is not comfortable with the 'messy' aftermath. That's probably most of the internal conflict.
You a Sag Sun but Moon in Scorpio (Water) which is not a very light placement, though it would find affinity with his Cancer sun. IP: Logged |

Two things stuck out to me: If his birthtime is correct, then Your Ascendants are conjunct eachother's Descendants, and your suns are in eachother's 7th houses. Those are suppose to be very powerful factors in attraction/compatibility. Each of you percieves the other to be what you've been looking for in the perfect partner (note that the keyword here is *percieves* ). His sun conjuncting your NN is also a very powerful contact. Your Mars on his SN is very much the same. Meeting him might feel fated to you, while your drive and motivation (mars) makes you 'familiar' to him in a way.
His Venus opposite your Mars is great sexually, but there could be some jealousy on the part of Venus (especially since he's venus).
The reason you're not a typical 'flighty' Sagittarius is because you have a Scorpio Moon which is prone to be temperamental and deep, and somewhat mistrustful not the partying sort. Your chart ruler, Jupiter, is also in the 12th house which makes you prefer to be 'hidden'...perhaps in the comforts of your own home.

That is so spot on, I can't even begin to tell you how eerie it was to read... Even your choice of words, my God! quote:

Does that mean he's the jealous one or me? Because to be honest, lately, it looks like it's ALL me  Everything you wrote about myself and the Cancer male was really eye-opening and exciting. I have not felt this way about a guy in a REALLY long time and at least now I understand why. I do feel the attraction and comfort and even somewhat fated to him but I don't know if that is enough to ease my anxieties about him. I've been noticing his pitfalls more and more lately and that's usually not a very good sign with me. Communication has been the hardest thing so far. I think I've been reading WAY too much about "Cancers" online and have literally made myself unable to communicate anything to him for fear of hurting him and causing him to retreat. I can hold my tongue pretty well but I don't know for how long. Things are starting to bubble up inside and I fear that if I say anything now, EVERYTHING will come spilling out all at once and he probably won't be able to handle any of it. Sigh. The anxiety you feel is a classic case of someone contacting your NN (North Node). It is feels fated, but because its also the path you're heading towards as opposed to the path you already know (South Node), it can feel scary too. I bet despite all the air in his chart, you notice his cancerian traits much more because it is his Cancer sun on your Cancerian North Node.
And you're right: in the Venus/Mars Opposition both people can be jealous. But in my experience, Venus usually feels it more.
Anyways, just be yourself and you should be fine. Trust your gut, most importantly! I'm not advising you to spill your guts, but just go with the flow. A Scorpio Moon would usually rather die first, anyways...haha. (I can relate since I'm an 8th house Moon).

I think you have hit this one on the nail (again). I feel this strange pull towards him but at the same time, it represents everything I've been running from for the last two years. quote:

Precisely. It WAS his cancer traits that stood out to me and attracted me to him in the first place. I am almost infatuated with the "way" he is because it's so different from what I'm used to and from what I usually encounter. quote:

ehhhhh, I forgot to follow up on this...my bad! No hiatus anymore, but Im still superbusy...haha. Yes, scorpio moons don't usually reveal things very easily which is great because Cancer Suns are the same way. I see some mutual trust that goes on here. I think his gemini stellium is great for your Sag for communication, actually. There could be lots of thought provoking debates sparked. He could get you to see the little things you may miss, while you teach him not to get hung up on the details.
Anyways, you should relax! Even if he is a cancer, he's also like 29 years old. If he takes little stuff personally at this point, something is probably a miss. :\ With a Gem moon, I'm hoping he brushes off that stuff.
