Is Nessus Square Dejanira, in a wide orb, like say 8 degrees... still a bad indication?Does it matter how wide the orb, or will it ALWAYS be something to seriously consider? Just wondering. IP: Logged |

Nothing will get triggered because of an 8 degree orb. Use this guideline: Nessus sq Pluto, Neptune gets seriously active when the orb < 1 degree. Nessus sq Saturn, Uranus gets seriously active when orb < 1 degree 30 minutes Nessus sq Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus gets seriously active orb < 3 degrees. Nessus sq Dejanira, Mars, other Asteroids gets seriously active orb < 2 degrees

They certainly do, though you could add 1 degree each for the conjunction.IP: Logged |

Thanks. And while you are on, how important is the sextile in synastry? Is it "enough", if you know what I mean? IP: Logged |

iQ,What would an opposition between asteroids Nessus and Lucifer, under 2 degrees? And, how do you handle the interpretations of trine, squares, and oppositions with Nessus? IP: Logged |

Nessus opp LUCIFER, 2 degrees:In synastry, it indicates verbally or emotionally abusive reactions to rebelliousness. In Natal, it indicates someone who though strong, might get hounded by corrupt people if he or she rebels and blows the whistle. If LUCIFER is afflicted by having a Saturn square or Mars square or Mercury, it means the native can turn out to be a negative person who likes to rebel by abusing others. Nessus Trines/Sextiles are easy to handle, they are more like aspects of those who investigate abuse and try to prevent it. Nessus squares in Natal are like heavy weight resistance training. Not so useful for the weak unless they wish to strengthen dramatically. It is wisest for the girl to avoid relationships where the guy's Nessus squares the girl's Venus or DEJANIRA within 2 degrees orb. And ofcourse, if the guy's Nessus conjuncts her Ascendant within 4 degrees. AVOID. Even if he is an angel to the world, he might behave as if he is the devil incarnate towards you. DD, Sextile alone is never enough

IQ,"Sextile alone is never enough " That is what I have thought. But lately noticed a lot of sextiles in the synastric lists, and was wondering how significant they are really. I have always thought that they probably give a good feeling about someone, but do not have enough energy to pursue something further. For example: in a soulmate relationships, the soulmate relation (if shown by many sextiles) might express itself more through a silent (or sometimes communicative) "background-support", a vague sympathy, but will not lead into a romantic relationship. Would you agree with that? Or how do you see it? I have always been looking for conjunction and trine for strong harmonious connections. How is your take on it? IP: Logged |
