It would be the 7th, not 5th for marriage.

It could be both, because you need more than one aspect for something to happen.

A good little rule to remember is that the progressed chart will not show you something that is not in the Natal.

What do you think of the theory that if something is occuring that points to a certain type of event in,
-progressions &
-transits &
-solar arc or mp activation
If there was activation on more than 2 levels that it would supersede the natal promise? What do you think?

Hi Lonake, I honestly think it's first in the Natal.
If Progressions show the event, Transits will show how it comes about, and then the Natal will show the end result.
Promise and/or potential are unlimited.

I've learned so much through trial and error that it has cured me of jumping to conclusions.

puppet if 7th house or its ruler is very afflicted, marriage can be shown by 5th house/ruler.
