I am not very familiar with Venus Retro. I am learning from what people have written and what *I* am experiencing.

I will try to piece some things together for you.

You have Venus conjunct your Mercury. Mercury is the mind.
It may be bringing up old, deep patterns about love : love in your past,love for yourself, love in relationships.

You may be re-working why certain things happened,why certain things did not happen,how love has been in your life, how it will be in the future.

I sense, just in my intuition, that you are struggling with hopelessness about future love.

You are wondering if you will EVER find that special person.
This could be producing depression and hopelessness.
