Topic: synastry comparison...can anyone offer some thoughts pls? lots of saturn!

I've known this person for a year through work. Literally did not think a thing of him beyond that I thought he was quiet and kind of stuffy....but recently we spent some time together and I realized I was kind of attracted to him but not physically so much as from a feeling of being really, really comfortable and safe with him. If you guys could offer your thoughts on this, I'm very very curious. I got his birth time and yowza, my Saturn is right on ASC. I'm learning to have a better relationship with Saturn after struggling with him being so close to my Venus and now transiting over my DSC. But he still scares the crap out of me, particularly when it comes to intimacy...I also hate feeling so much judgement and criticism towards a person but that seems inevitable with Saturn! oyyy..thanks in advance for your thoughts, I'd really appreciate it! There are plenty of nice and lasting aspects, and especially one that I look for in my synastry with others.... that's Moon in a positive aspect to Jupiter... His Jupiter aspects your Moon to show he genuinely is kind and benevolent towards you and you genuinely care for him. Your Mars on his moon can be very sexual and his Venus in your first house.... he is definitely attracted to you... combined with his Moon trine your Sun, he is into you BIG time and you both find it easy to get along....
Your Moons are compatible too. All excellent for good rapport and attraction and thos Saturn contacts make it lasting.
His Mercury in Scorpio makes him intensely reflective and he communicates very intently to make points and emotional statements that can sometimes cause shall we say...awkward moments.
Your Mercury in Libra is alot more pleasing to others and you use diplomacy to get your point accross... hence here is a potential problematic area but it's not huge by any means.
So yes lots of nice contacts and compatibility with plenty of attraction.

The sarturn - ascendant conjunction between the two charts is not necessarily a bad aspect.It can provide much needed grounding for the Asc person. Perhaps it makes them more responsible, or the saturn person inspires them to grow up and become mature. It is also an aspect that can point to a solid and real association that may last a long time. So don't freak out just because mister saturn has implicated himself quite strongly in this synastry. Quinnie mentioned and explained some beautiful aspects present between the two of you. I'd consider the his sun your uranus square to be more of a 'wowsers' aspect as its a little unpredictable at the best of times  IP: Logged |

Thanks Quinnie and Redstar! By the way Quinnie, the inner wheel is me, so I guess I'm the one REALLY into him, haha. I am but the Saturn stuff kinda makes me uncomfortable. I feel like it's a little bit of an awkward vicious cycle...I think he's getting the "worse" end of it so to speak- my Saturn on his ASC and square his Sun in very very close orb. I can't help but feel like he's a little scared of me...and my awareness of that makes me feel a little weird....like I mentioned, I have experience with Saturn natally, and I know it can be really harsh and scary seeming...I don't know if I like being in that position. I try to be empathic towards him, but I can't help feel like everything I do perpetuates his feeling kind of put down by me somehow!IP: Logged |
