Pluto is now once again creeping back into a square with my second house libran venus. I have transitting pluto in capricorn in my fourth house. Pluto was exactly square my venus this time last year and coincided with the splitting up of me and my boyfriend at the time. Im now very interested in someone else and he has just become single this week after a long term relationship. Could this upcoming square from pluto be a problem for me? (my gut is telling me that it will be an issue)? any advice very much appreciated....

Oh my GOD Pluto squaring my Venus was THE WORST TRANSIT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED... not to scare you, but its true for me. Granted, Pluto was also conjunct my DSC at the same time and conjunct my Saturn/Uranus too. But yeah, I split up with my long term boyfriend and experienced a lot of heartache in the subsequent relationships. I'm now feeling Pluto's influence lifted and it has definitely transformed me. I think it was particularly bad for me because my Sun is in Aqua, we base our egos on our detachment. My Venus is in Pisces and the love that a Pisces Venus feels is so deep that it's overwhelming. Pluto made me feel my Venus way more than normal and my Aqua Sun didn't like it (neither did my Libra Moon because Libra Moons don't like extremes).

I think if you're not used to a certain planets influenced in your chart, you're going to have a tougher time with it in transit. I have no Pluto in my chart. I do have a lot of Saturn/Uranus and Saturn and Uranus doing a back and forth over my Venus for the past few months has been pretty easy.

Highschool was not a memorable experience, but Pluto opposing my Venus was definitely not as bad as descriptions make it out to be. Its suprising to me since my unaspected Venus doesn't usually take harsh transits very well. Well, what was bad of this transit was obsessing so badly over the 'idea' of romance (sooo gemini venus). It seems like nothing now but it was pure torture at the time...LOL. The emotional drama and heartache of actually having the person didn't come until a year after the transit was over...when Saturn went over my 7th house sun, and Chiron also opposing it.

"coincided with the splitting up of me and my boyfriend at the time"
This is for the better, Pluto/Venus roots out everything that's not nourishing the depth of love you need. Pluto/Venus won't tolerate a false front in any relationship.
Just be honest and stay true to yourself if pursuing this new specimen. And everything will be fine
It's when you start to lie and play superficial that you'll get kicked in the face.
The only things to watch out for are love triangles and unrequited love, but at least you'll have passion. O and you may scare off someone with your intensity. Or someone may intensely pursue you.

You know what? I did experience something completely unrequited and that was part of the torture. Thanks for reminding me, hehe.

I know, Pluto has such a unique energy. It is like an amoral steam shovel .

It comes to your nicely manicured life and starts to unearth you until you look like a shrew who has not slept for ten nights

When I see Pluto, I TRY to take off my hat, tip it and bow for him.

Pluto conjunct Dejanira, Girlfriend.

Thanks so much to all of you for contributing here, I'm overly worried about this maybe but its only a few months ago that the exact square came and just turned everything upside down I have no venus/pluto in my chart at all so maybe thats why it effects me so badly, I guess I'll just have to roll with the punches and see what occurs.
