i'm not sure, where did you read the stuff about the venus saturn becoming mean if you start to shine? I'm only asking because a close friend did this to me within the last couple of days and she has venus saturn. I'm still upset about it, apparently I upset her with something i said..which is always possible cos i'm a leo with an aries moon though it wasn't intentional and it certainly wasn't anything said in malice, it confused me if anything.

traditionally venus saturn can withhold love at times and can associate money with love (I have these in square), they can be work orientated and feel unworthy easily, self worth is an issue for most.

i didn't read it i just actually said that from my own experience... what i did read though is that venus conjunct saturn can be only takers and not at all givers..

I have that. Not in the same sign though.. late Venus in Scorpio conjuncts early Saturn in Sag.

I don't act that way. For me to be cold though, it's usually for a reason. If the person steps ON me, to get to the spotlight, without any regards for anyone else, or if we both did the work together but they took all the credit, or just someone trying to get ahead in some other devious, underhanded means, I would just ignore them completely and wouldn't want anything to do with them in the future. I don't bother saying mean things really. We Venus conj Saturn people don't love people we can't respect, it kinda comes hand in hand.

And just saying in general for me, that's some of the reason I'd ignore someone. That's how my Venus conj Saturn behaves.

Everyone's situation/reaction is different so I dunno. *shrugs*

Sounds like a Jupiter/Pluto square in a composite/synastry type of relationship. Not a Venus/Saturn one in natal. Do you guys have that?

I checked mine and there's no square in either but there is a jupiter/pluto con in synastry, I've got the pluto, she has a son the same age as me and she has problems dealing with him too, she insists on being right and won't agree to disagree, she can be one sided when it comes to most things. I do love her dearly but she drives me mad.

Yes Duke, all you say is true.

This used to happen to me and l have saturn/venus cj. Scv people DO feel threatened, whatever they say lol

One has to recognise it, control it and then it won't happen again

I don't know why it happens though.

There's no meanness though and it doesn't happen with a partner, just with 3rd party.
I am definitely NOT a taker. I give give give all the damn time and yeah, sometimes l resent it

it's like any aspect- there's a high and low road too it. I have Venus conjunct Saturn and what you're describing sounds like a hurt Venus/Saturn relationship

I am totally fascinated with this thread...

My SO has this aspect and honestly it was one of the things that broke us up in the first place. It was like the more I mattered to him, the more he held me at arms length..it was so strange.

I broke up with him about it, among other things..and now we are talking again with the venus in rx...imagine that.

I do have a question..are saturn conjunct venus pple cheaters? trying to really get a feel for this conjunction..part of me says no..that their saturn would keep them in check..but not sure.

You know that might make sense for my sweetie since his 5th house is ruled by aquarus...nothing is in there, just ruled. Like my aquarus 7th house, ruled by it, but nothing in there..but it intercepted...
