Does this mean dating people with earth will balance me out along with fixed signs?

Just wondering because I don't think this philosophy works long term because we are just too different.

Has this worked for you?

Have you been in a long term relationship and "Happy" with the other person holding you down (earth and fixed signs in particular for mutable and air signs) with a chain?

Would it not be better to mingle with other signs similiar by nature?

This is true in general. In the beginning there tends to be a lot of attraction, esp for the person who has a lack like you do with the earth, but over time the connection tends to polarize instead of bringing the couples closer together.

I attract a good number of people who lack Air, surprisingly, and I give them someone to confide in as a means to detach, help them with their studies, etc. because on their own they just face such a big block. In the beginning it was fun and interesting to be friends with that sort, but after a while it starts to become a problem. I had them as friends, but over and over with that type I see a huge fundamental difference between us that is too much of a bother really to cross to take it to a level that is sustainable. I don't want to have to show someone how to take a step back from things 'every single time' it's exhausting. And if you're strong in Air already, you have energy it's just mostly mental, and the mental burnout exhausts the physical body. It's a no can do for me, now. It wasn't after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. but when I started to look at their charts I kept noticing where-t-f is all the Air, lol, and they had no planet/angle there, not even Asc. I would say that I'm still a magnet for them, i don't know whyyyy, but I can only get so close, then I have to back off a bit because they start reading too much into things.

This is what I think as well.

At first I am always attracted as well because they are different and feel like I will be stable and I just somehow think I might calm down being around them but I actually get the oposite effect where I feel chained down and wanting to free myself.

If I had someone mutable and airy with tiny bit of water I think we will hapily bounce along in life together.

I get along really good also with people who have an air sun sign and water moon sign.

Air is very important to me. I have no friends/family members without air in their charts. Usually they have air in their top three.
I think these people do balance me.

I had a pretty happy relationship with a Libra guy/Libra Venus lol

So yeah - I love air in people.

I think that when a person has shut themselves down, they need to find the missing pieces in another person i.e. the balance.

However, when they have accepted themselves, they want the "similar" .
The similar provides a place of rest. I think,we all want to know that we are not alone and that we are ok.

I think we question if we are.
When you find someone who resonates with you in the most ways possible, you relax in a deep way cuz you feel understood.

I want to address opposite signs. I think opposite signs are the "same".

IOW, I would not classify them as filling in earth when you have no earth, for example.

Opposite signs are missing pieces in the sense that they are aspiration for YOU .

They are what you know inside YOU are missing,kind of like the NN in that they are part of you purpose even though you may not be there, yet.

My working theory is open for discussion i.e. criticism

So your 'off balance' state of wanting another persons element to complete your own make-up is not really going to work because:
1) you are already complete
2) if you feel incomplete and are struggling to find ways to complete or fill the empty vessel feeling within, you won't ever (Sadly) do it by searching outside of yourself however much you think you can.
3) theories and thinking are all great BUT remember this. You are not in control, so isn't it better to just sit back, enjoy the ride and just let what is going to happen "happen" without fighting it and causing needless stress and unnecessary thought-processes?

JUST take the next 365 days and FEEL your way through them, totally out of control and allowing fate to happen without engaging your mind at all as to "what do l want? What do l need? Why aren't l happy? Why do l keep thinking about everything " etc

HA! Yes, this is one of the biggest mistakes humans make lol
FEELing understood and BEING understood are two different beasts.
