I have to admit that there is a large number of relationships that have this polarity (attraction) between Scorpio and Taurus aspects. Sun Taurus, Sun Scorpio, for example.

Some of these relationships seem to last. Some breakup very painfully. And, lastly, as the opposition implies, some can and will become enemies.

What I would like to understand is, what is the attraction like between the Taurus and Scorpio bond?

What is it about the other that seems so attractive?

What are your differences?

What are the oppositions in behavior, that you have to reconcile?

After only a tiny bit of thought, I wonder if it has anything to do with the rulers of those signs being Venus-Mars & Pluto. Those planets seem to be the passionate love combinations. Just a thought...

well anything opposing your mars won't last especially when it's the sun.. neither one is in sync and they tend to work against each other.

The attraction between my Taurus Venus and a Scorpio Mars man - is by far the best feeling of elation and bliss I've ever experienced in this life time.

(My Taurus Venus (and BML) are opp Scorpio Pluto on my Nodes in natal. This tug of war has been HUGE in my life.. so I have a lot more to say. Just briefly now - ONE very very significant opposition to balance.. is the Venusian love of everything beautiful in life - and the Plutonian love of the ugly side of life - a side which Venus does not want to see, examine or look at)

I just wanted to add that I have ASC in Scorpio, with Pluto in the 1st conjunct ASC, BUT i also have Mars in Taurus, opp all that business.

I am inconceivably attracted to Scorpio placements. BUT (the important part) I am always the aggressor. If they have Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars in Scorpio, I'm the one to make all the moves. They swoon, of course, and take my bait because, like me, they're spellbound by the attraction. But he or she is never the one to make the first move. They take the feminine, passive role. Don't know why. Just do. I'm speaking in friendship and in romance.

The opposition (and square) are the best, really. For my chart, anyways. Enough of a challenge, and they heighten the desire.

hmm, i have taurus moon exactly opposed uranus in scorpio. my most recent guy, as you know, has scorpio moon opposed his taurus sun which conjuncts my moon exactly.

for me i feel that it is about COMFORT. i feel taurus embodies comfort and scorpio seeks to unveil all things preventing comfort. it is both completely vulnerable and completely uneasy WITH its vulnerability, hiding it deep deep inside. with taurus, scorpio is able to relax, because taurus' whole being IS comfort and what you see is what you get, so scorpio has nothing to unveil. sort of a crude picture, but that is what i feel.

oh, and that nothing pleases taurus more than to offer and provide that sense of simple comfort

that's why i think it is such a nice match, and so magnetic. it's the basic simplicity of it, really.

I am a Taurus Sun and my Love is a Scorpio Sun, I love him so much I dont even know why, we broke up in the past and tried real hard to forget each other, it just did not work so we got back together

We broke up not because of our differences but because of our similarities: both are very stubborn, had trust issues and of course lots of ego

I just cannot explain why our connection is so strong but it is

---- What I would like to understand is, what is the attraction like between the Taurus and Scorpio bond? ----

The attraction feels all consuming to me. It feels like you were never completely alive before you met this person. There is a strange life/death theme lurking in the background. If I was going through a dark time, if I felt horrible, weak, worn out and was a step away from jumping off a bridge – and I saw him – it would all go away. Suddenly my mind would be in a different space – My entire body feels relaxed when we make eye contact, as though I’d spent the day in a spa (It happens even on a very stressful day). It ‘s definitely a powerful connection.

---- What is it about the other that seems so attractive? ----

His honesty. The fact that he has never lied to me. He has never played games with me. I know that I can count on him. He has put a lot on the line to help me and that meant so much to me. I love the intensity which comes shooting through his eyes and his deep/affectionate voice.
I love that he never gives up, come hell or high water. I love that he is not scared of anything and most of all – not scared of being hurt.

---- What are your differences? ----

I’ve experienced what I see as Taurus-Scorpio differences.. but not with the man above ^
Usually – the biggest differences I’ve found on this axis – were with Taurus Mars men – who had their Mars opposite my Scorpio Pluto.
In a nutshell – I end up finding them a bit shallow and superficial. My reaction is to withdraw sexual attention and to give ultimatums like: “If you don’t change in this or that regard.. I’m out!”.. To which Taurus Mars will always quietly and pleasantly reply “Exit is that way”, and continue munching on their chips and watching TV on the couch that they seldom leave.
I think their own problem with me is that they think I take life too seriously. On the other hand – I think they take life too lightly. A lot of times they seem oblivious to negative things such as health problems, pain, poverty etc. They abuse resources and over-do it when it comes to food and sex. Self-control can be lost on these men.
My Scorpio Pluto would like to see more control. I do see their point that I could loosen up - I guess it’s a matter of finding middle ground which is not always easy, mainly if this is a close opposition in synastry.

Hey PlutoSquared, I don't know if you saw it in the other thread that got deleted but I was in NO WAY referring to you when I made that comment. I apologize for the confusion I created.

The taurus-scorpio bond obviously depends on everything in their charts.

But i know from personal experience it can be very very very strong. Very deep, and passionate without even saying a word. It wasn't good for a last relationship, we were way too similar. We couldn't give each other the things we needed to grow because we were too alike. But it was insanely scorpionic while it lasted
