Another emotionally demanding week ~ I hate to write that again. You probably aren�ft thrilled to read it. BUT ~ take heart, we are ALMOST through the dark patches! More and More fire is coming in to the heavens over the next few weeks. And, at the end of this week, Venus is leaving Scorpio for a 22 day sashay through Libra. Yes, Venus is still retrograde. She is bringing old lovers, old dreams, old hopes and money issues back like the cat drags mice to the front door stoop. The old stuff returning is her version of a cosmic present from the heavens. BUT Venus gets lighter and dries up a bit when she moves into fast acting Air at the end of the week. She looks around and takes a deep breathe. Venus engages in a conversation or three about what she wants over the next three weeks while stopping and reversing her course. She takes action as only she can. She knows she has to move back THROUGH all those emotions yet a third time but right now, she�fs going to feel happier. At least Venus THINKS she will feel happier after Sunday. Until Sunday, she�fs going to drag us through more muck and mud and drama as she travels through the very un-evolved section of early Scorpio ~ the Scorpio decant of Scorpio. Expect un-evolved events, emotions and feelings to dance through your life this week. Very primal stuff indeed.

And the other two planets who�fve also been making us dig around in the emotional muck of our contribution to society shift direction this week and start to move forward. It�fs all part of our getting ready to start the next chapter. Chiron and Neptune in Aquarirus have been going retrograde since May. This week, they both stop, station and turn direct.

Stopped Neptune can be VERY emotional. Stopped Chiron can be VERY wounded or wounding. They stop within two days and 1 degree of each other, stimulating them both as well as you.

BUT they both are shifting and getting healthier and better once they move direct. So watch for a fast shot to your soul�fs wound from the world this week. It is about the universe trying to transform you. Watch for sudden emotional awakenings this week. It is about the universe connecting you to your soul�fs path ~ or perhaps reconnecting you. Watch for transcendence and evolution and understanding as they both stop and talk to each other and you about why, exactly, you are here.

There also is a New Moon on Saturday, in Scorpio, at the degree of Venus�f station retrograde. That New Moon energy adds a burst of uplift. It also means the few days before it, when Venus is in very early Scorpio and as Chiron and Neptune station we will be rolling around in our emotions in a deep and quite dark place. It isn�ft to scare you. It is to help you get clear about your heart�fs desires.

I went to a lecture Sunday where the speaker, Eve Ensler, said when you feel fear, to ask yourself �gAre you going for approval OR are you going for change?�h It was an interesting question to mull.

Change provokes fear in many of us. Anxiety. We LIKE the status quo. We like to know things are stable and not changing. Are you going for approval? Does that approval actually MATCH what your soul wants? That approval you seek from another ~ is it taking you off of your authentic path?

Are you going for change? Do you know what change will bring into your life? Are you simply afraid to change? Why? What is the source of the fear you have about change? Digging down into that question, layer by layer provides interesting answers. Delve in the energy and into yourself for a bit.

The other thought that I came away with from that lecture was �gHow you treat others is how you treat yourself.�h Marion Woodman, a Jungian analyst, said it to her interviewer in the documentary about her life, �gDancing in the Flames.�h The corollary is true too ~ �gHow you allow others to treat you is what you think of yourself.�h As we are existing in a giant cosmic hologram as described by our chart ~ the actions and reactions are all part and parcel of our chart. Lower and higher versions of actions and reactions. Perhaps not things you would like to keep any more but still versions of you and how you reflect your energy out into the world. You are going to get clear on your version of reality this week. And you are going to get clear if you want this version of reality to continue to be in your life.

The goal of Venus in Scorpio is to get you living your authentic life ~ higher or lower be damned but focused and clear. Feel those passions. Name them. Claim them. Even if they are scary or unfamiliar or dangerous or too-too-too much. We all have Venus in Scorpio for 100 days to help us get super duper involved with what our passions are ~ good, bad or indifferent. Own your passion. Stop looking for approval of your passion from other people or organizations or family or friends. It is YOUR passion. It is NOT their passion. They will never approve of your passion. They will never understand your passion the way you understand it. Give yourself permission to change and move toward your passion, even if you are afraid it will�c. (name the fear and insert it here!).

Will your passion REALLY? REALLY? Will your passion really do that? Why would the thing deep in your heart hurt you like that? It won�ft. Honest. And when you get to the other side of your life, you�fll be so happy you lived your passion. Give it a try. You still have 44 days of Venus in passionate, out of control Scorpio ~ with a brief sashay starting this week in Libra. Figure out a good name or outfit for your passion and move towards it!

The New Moon takes place at the same degree that Venus stationed at before moving retrograde in Scorpio this fall. That makes THIS New Moon one of the more powerful New Moons of your entire life. Yep, you read that correctly. More powerful and important than many other events in your life. It certainly is important in helping shape and frame the life you are about to embark upon.

Pay close attention to what you see, hear, learn, realize and come to understand during this New Moon�s energy. That includes what happened last week as the dark of the moon occurred as well as the next few days as the New Moon plants seeds for your future.

Since early September 2010, Venus has been traveling through her shadow. She moved forward to station at 13 Scorpio on October 8, 2010. Then Venus started moving backwards. Venus is spending 100 days rolling around in the over the top passions and intense emotions in Scorpio. She about to spend 22 days in Libra as she returns to Libra on Sunday and moves towards her station direct on November 18. When a planet stops on a degree, it becomes highly sensitive. Venus stopped at 13 degrees of Scorpio.

Venus has been traveling through the Via Combusta ~ the path of fire ~ as she�s been undertaking her retrograde journey this fall. The Path of Fire is a dark section of the heavens with dark, difficult but passionate fixed stars that planets dance through. Her recent journey has illuminated our own dark, difficult yet passionate parts of our lives.

Venus is attempting to get us clear on what we need, want or desire. A friend had a conversation with someone who said about his behavior towards her �I know you WANT it but you don�t NEED it.� Aside from wanting to smack him, (who is he to make that statement to her?) in some senses he is right in sync with the heavens. Right now, we all are giant bundles of wants, needs and desires. We are sorting through them to find out what or which we actually DO want, need or desire. And how exactly to phrase that want, need or desire in words or what actions we need to take to get it.

So the New Moon will get you clear on the differences in your being between want, need and desire. Pay attention to the messages from the heavens.

The New Moon cast for Washington, D.C. also has a Finger of God pointing toward the Midheaven from Saturn in Libra in at the edge between the second and third house and Pallas Athena in Sagittarius the 4th house. Look at what you physically value and what you SAY you value compared to the patterns you actually follow.

The Midheaven is 13 Scorpio and apex of the Finger of God is joined to the fixed star Menkar and parallel to Sualocin. Menkar, the whale or sea monster star, brings a toughening of the native through tests of endurance, trials and tribulations as the unconscious surfaces to become conscious. Menkar marks the sudden emergence of deep, unconscious issues that need to be dealt with. The individual as well as collective unconscious erupts with moments of great collective insight, chaos or mayhem. Like a sea beast from the deep, we must transform or become the victim.

On the other hand, Sualocin is in the Dolphin constellation and known for having a cheerful, playful nature with at touch of talent or mastery. Sualocin is parrallel to the apex of the Finger of God and the Midheaven. Let the energy of the New Moon play with your mind and heart like the dolphin acts as the friendly guide in the sea to the sailors. Dive with Sualocin into the depths of your being. Delight in the depths of your mind. Play in the wake of the emerging unconscious energy from the sea monster.

So your job is to allow and watch for your unconscious to erupt with the message(s) that Venus in retrograde motion and the New Moon in Scorpio are attempting to give to you. Then, once, the great sea monster breaks through from underneath the water, making the unconscious conscious, dive in and swim over to it, riding on the Dolphin of creative play. Gently greet that new wave of understanding with a playful heart and open mind. It is all part of your journey to the next chapter of your life.

The New Moon also features a fast moving moon that will process the information rapidly to help you integrate it quickly into your being. Accept what surfaces.

There also is a grand trine in water involving Retrograde Venus, South Node in Cancer and stationing Neptune and Chiron. Neptune and Chiron station on either side of this New Moon adding additional emotion heft and weight to the emerging energies. It is time to move forward again with our creative vision of what we want for our lives. Mercury�s closing square in Scorpio to Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius offers us a psychological method or manner to process the issues emerging from our being.

If we can appreciate that the cycles in the heavens describe for us the place we are as well as where we are going. The planets are there for us to ripen and grow within and through. We can begin to look at our life as a series of stages, turns on the wheel of fate ~ evolutions, revolutions, each and every one of them voluntarily undertaken by our soul.

So listen to the call of the sea monster or whale as it surfaces and blows a volume of water up into the air so you can see it. Swim playfully with the dolphin so you understand what your soul is trying to say to you. Don�t be afraid to see your patterns. Do take heart that once you see them, you understand them. That is all that is require. To look, unafraid, and see what needs to be seen. The rest will take care of itself.

WOW awesome! it's exactly conjunct my Uranus at 13 Scorpio and 14 Scorpio MC. I'm working VERY hard day in and out, to get career matters going, So this is great timing and energy to do so under.
