in astrology, are things like this just considered coincidences?

my venus rests in the 3rd house, and my partners Mercury is conjunct my DSC.

my partners Venus rests in her 10th house, and my Saturn conjuncts her DSC.

I wish I could find it...but I think DD has posted varioius brilliant things about the synastry placement of house rulers as not just coincidences, at all. It's part of why looking closely at each natal is so helpful in understanding how synastry dynamics will play out.

Have you looked at this within the synastries of your previous relationships? That would be interesting.
