my new theory for squares to venus is, planets taht square it, show where your love will be challenged.

the planets, the themes.

example -

Jupiter square venus - your love or partner or both may challenge your principles in love or there may be trust issues or issues with being open.

Saturn - your desire to commit may be challenged, patience required, perhaps your commitments hold you back from your partner, or your partner represents commitments that get in your way.

Pluto - how deep is your love? literally. your partner may constantly challenge how deep it runs or vice versa, pluto will test.

Tell us more Raspberri...what is he like?
Would you see him as a nice guy who generally has an easy going life?

My venus is definitely the worst aspected planet I have.

Venus square Jupiter (have difficulty believing that something good is going to last/it will crash and burn eventually)
square Uranus (because of the aforementioned disturbance, I begin testing the limits of the relationship and prematurely destroying it to "test" people)
square Neptune (every now and then idealization gets in the way of reality)
square Chiron (relationships that are significant hit my well of emotions in a deep way and my jerk response is revulsion)

He is sooooo nice and just too easy to get along with. He is super sweet!

He has Sun conjunct Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius and his dad has families with all kinds of diff people. But his chart is so easy I have never seen anything like it.

Not true for me. I have Saturn in Libra, so it's all a balancing act, but the commitments on either side don't get in the way. Contrary, I'm very good at balancing in that regard, giving some but not too much on either side so I never feel overwhelmed. I have to, cos if I become off-balance then everything falls to pieces (Mars,Saturn,Pluto conj)

I'll challenge my partners to be deep, not vice versa. I'm the one, the Plutonian, to take them down that path, if necessary. Sometimes we're both on the same level and its not needed, which is the best. That's usually with Scorpios

a close friend has Venus 3 Capricorn(libra rising so its his chart ruler) it is square 5 Pluto/ 4 Ascendant Libra conjunction, conjunct the IC , and opposite 4 Saturn/5 Midheaven Cancer conjunction. a nice tight T square (my moon at 5 Aries happens to complete his t square to make a grand cross)

he is rather intense but very much acts venusian. he is very socialable and is quite consciously affable in a sometimes phony way. he thinks he is supposed to make people feel good with his words (venus and neptune in the 3rd)

he has a recurring theme of money issues. (pluto rules his 2nd and venus his 8th) he has had several windfalls but is still worrisome and secretive around money. i think he doesn't want people to like him for his money. as a scorpio sun in the 2nd house, with venus square pluto his money and other people's money are constantly at the forefront of his life. to top it all off he also has taurus moon conjunct his 8th house cusp, its technically in the 7th house. he also has mars in the 7th house, he 2nd house co-ruler.

venus and money! $$$$$$

ETA: he is constantly testing the loyalty of people he is close to. never really lets people in and is very secretive. typical scorpio behavior. but with venus square pluto, with venus in capricorn, he can be very steady and deliberate with his intense affections as he has matured in life
