I have been looking at this aspect for quite some time and I believe it is very significant for it also conjuncts my Mercury...but for the life of me I cannot understand why my karmic debts would attract a nemesis who is interested in the way I communicate...Help please. ------------------

Here is more on the 3rd house. Could the karma involve your brother or sister?
3rd -- One's local environment. Siblings, straight away, and all ideas, concepts and experiences that grow out of that idea. Mental processes, opinions, writing, analysis, some aspects of publishing, local travel, your immediate surroundings and one's ideas. But if you are in a foreign country and trying to speak the language, that's the 3rd house aspect of your journey. The 3rd is the expression of all that you feel and believe in the 2nd house. It's not unusual, however, for siblings to turn out with "night and day" values -- which is an expression of the Gemini quality of that house, the essence of dualism, or complimentary relationship. This house represents the hidden psychological legacy of the father. To address the contents of the house, it helps a lot of you're willing to consider your dad's inner trip and the psychological and emotional legacy he's handed you.

It could also involve short and impulsive travel to meet someone whom you should not be meeting or impulsive chatting/conversations/texting with the wrong type of guys, especially this SR Year when you have a dangerous Nessus aspect. You should be wary of whom you choose to give your mobile number/email/FaceBook links etc.
3rd House rules Hi-Tech Communication.
Another thing is to be careful of using credit cards online.
