I just looked at the new chart Astro has for Arabic Parts (only includes Fortune, Spirit, Necessity, Eros, Courage, Nemesis, & Victory), and it turns out I have Sun conjunct po Eros, Saturn/Uranus conjunct po Victory and Moon conjunct Spirit.I'm not well versed in Arabic Parts, so what do you guys think those mean? It's listed in chart drawing styles as "Astrodienst with Arabic Parts"The pdf of the chart has the rest of them. I've been reading a little about it today and it seems like you take each part (and use whole sign houses) and rotate the chart until the part is the ASC. Like, po Fortune represents your body/possessions/state of wealth/health on this Earth. So to see if you're successful materially, you rotate until the sign that PoFortune is in is the ASC and count to the 10th house and check the "condition" of the house. Very esoteric. Ie: My PoF is in Pisces, so the 10th house from my PoF is in Sagittarius with Saturn, Mars and Uranus in that house (also PoVictory). I'm not sure if that's a good house because Saturn and Mars are seen as malefics in old astrology. IP: Logged |

Part of Nemesis is taken from Saturn (Fortune is Sun, Spirit is Moon, etc). Nemesis seems to stand for karma.Also I get the impression from my preliminary readings on Arabic Parts that Planets either make the part good or bad, but the parts don't necessarily influence the planets. So because Venus is a benefic, this means that it alters the state of your part of nemesis in a good way. My Part of Eros (Venus) is combust since it's in a partile conjunction with the Sun, therefore it is weakened  IP: Logged |

I found it fitting especially as it also conjuncts INTERKOSMOS and ANUBIS and Dr Pluto in my chart. Maybe I need spiritual courage to do my cosmic job?  Oh I forgot:
ARABIA is there, too.
Anyone has planets or asteroids from 26-28 Capricorn?
I might be your guide to the other side.
(no, I am not talking about the land of the Dead; in my book Anubis expands this, as I feel the constellation it`s more indicative of "dimension-hopping").
I am kidding, I think.
But maybe that is too crude?

Actually with these asteroids, beside Egypt, you should delve into your English (haha) and Babylonian life.What is it with you guys and having the Sumerian Goddesses on these late Cappy degrees? J`s Inanna is on 26 Cap.

My Arabic Parts:Part of Courage: conj. Mars at 0Aries in 8th...the fearless warrior Parts of Necessity, Spirit, Eros and Fortune all conj. Ascendant at 19Can Part of Nemesis conj Saturn/Uranus at 29Sag...bad luck associated with either jumping too early or procrastinating too much...balance is needed, also damage from cold or lightning. Part of Victory at 5Vir makes no conjunctions but squares Jupiter...victory has to be earned, luck alone cannot help. ------------------

I'm not well versed in Arabic Parts either.I have Part of Victory on N.Node. Have you seen this Arabic Part calculator?

Yes, but that calculator is annoying because you have to enter the positions by hand. Astro does it and generates all of them in the pdf file that acompanies every chart.IP: Logged |

of course I had to check the Synastry with myself and Pisces. My Necessity/Spirit conjuncts his Mercury then opposite his Saturn. His Necessity/Eros conjunts my Chiron.. :O
not sure if that good or not.. My Victory sq his Mars (no victory for me..lol) My Nemesis trine his Venus
Courage sq Courage.
My courage opps his Mars
