Scorpio is not all that bad.I have a Scorp asc and at times I do not like it. The Scorp energy is not so easy to deal with it can drive one mad... It is destruction at it's worst, it is healing at it's best and everything inbetween. Think of the Phonenix, burning, dying into fire then resurrecting anew.... Scorp rules many things, and I can not stress enough, not an easy energy to be birthed with or to have to deal with if there is a Scorp in your life. If the energy is directed positively it is amazingly healing if it is directed negatively, amazingly destructive...I have directed both ways. t~~~ IP: Logged |

It rules the intense, climactic side of life, all or nothing situations, taking things as far as you can, bulldozing superficiality and replacing with substance, things that last or get destroyed completely, extreme weather, extreme yearning, extreme loyalty to a cause, determination and persistence, the orgasm, sex organs, regeneration, death. And a deep sensitivity beneath a sometimes austere front. ------------------

What dark things does scorpio i.e., pluto rule?Death, crime, especially violent or sexual crime, underworld type affairs and businesses, the mafia, rape, sexual deviance (but neptune and uranus and sometimes saturn have a hand in this as well), greed and shady business dealing (insider trader, ponzi schemes) but venus has a hand in this as does saturn, corruption in general. And a lot more I can't think off the top of my head.

I have Natal Pluto in the first house, but it's in Scorpio.

I think of scorp as the ultimate no bullsh*t sign. My sun in the 8th and chart ruler in scorp conjunct Pluto and mercury has led me into some deep emotional turmoil but all for the sake of eliminating bs in my life and psyche. This can be difficult because scorp deals w what is unseen- our psychological under layers, deepest needs and desires- if anything is inhibiting this scorpio energy starts to reel and attempt to destroy whatever facades and illusions we cling to at the sake of not acknowledging our deeper emotional and psychological realities.IP: Logged |

Love?They walk a think line between love and hate. Things *usually* don't end "well" with a scorpio. They typically aren't able to be friends with someone after it's over. They can become vengeful and act out vindictively, especially the moon/scorps. Suspicious and jealous, testing. Manipulative, play games, want domination -- mind and body and soul. IP: Logged |

Some never see it coming others feel a vibe that they cant explain. "How do you feel they handle you?"
Generally at arms length I find this approach works best for me anyway because, it takes a while for me to probe and size them up.

you'v got to have a good understanding of all the good of life and all the bad of life...the ultimate darkness, IMO, is not death, its what happens after death, that is if what happens after death is not good....like if you go to the wrong place...in the christian religion that would be Hell and for most of my life i'v had a deep fascination with Hell------------------

I think of scorpio like a deep bucket of water that someone drops some cheese into and lets ferment while the seal the top shut and let no sun light in.
This way the cheese dissolves and becomes it's atomized extremities.
In general scorpio tends to take things to extremes but is not as hardcore as a cap/scorpio because cap makes or pushes the extremes farther out into space.... In general I distrust scorpio's there's just too much that can go wrong with all their brooding. I'm a plutonian so I know, I do it. IP: Logged |

road warrior, i like the idea of the deep bucket of water but i prefer to see it as an ice burg...most people only investigate the tip while a scorpio will devour everything below the water, bring it to the surface..study it until all secrets are revealed, breaking it apart if necessaryi'm a cap/scorpio person as i have an 8th house stellium in cap, as well as another planet in cap but in the 7th, and i have pluto and mars in conjunct in scorpio, as well as sun in scorpio and i wouldnt say we investigate to that extreme, but its slightly more extreme than other scorpios...like, i can tell you just about anything of my favorite shows and their creators, lol also, for a scorpio to brood, you have to do something to them, we dont just brood for no reason, lol ------------------

Why, we might hit it off and become best friends, you know how many scorpio's love me? I never knew why, they always try to get me to help them with some cause, it's pluto conjunct vertex in scorpio....a couple years ago a scorpio guy admitted to me he was a luciferian out of nowhere and told me that he and his people support me....I don't know to this day where it came from, his urge to write that to me in an email, but I took him and we had some beers....he eventually wanted to know how my breathing tequniques could help his hitting in baseball..
interesting eh......my sister is a scorpio and we're irish twins....we've had a rocky relationship but the last five years have been nothing but peace and love...
hehe but I get it Scorpio can't risk losing it when no one's around and breaking one of their toys in a fit of range...my sister pounds her legs and throws things at you when you annoy her....she's 24. IP: Logged |
