I seem to have such an incredibly difficult time communicating with Virgos. What happens with nearly every single one of them (and there are a lot in my life) is that they tend to pout or sulk when they're angry, and I always feel like it's my fault. Often they say a lot of things that make me feel like I need to do something about it, and as a result I feel like they expect way too much of me. They also get angry very easily and I have to walk on eggshells. In this respect it is very hard for me to understand them at all even when I have a lot of respect and camaraderie with them.Why do you think this is? Is it because of my Sagittarius ascendant? The thing is though, I have a lot of Earth influences in my chart, and so do several of the Virgos I'm involved with. Aren't Virgos supposed to be our ideal partner, sun sign-wise? Does anyone else have this strange thing where they don't get along with signs that are supposed to be compatible with them? I know I'm new and I'm coming on awfully strong, I just get very excited about things. :P ------------------

I've heard this problem before with Virgo/Taurus.
Taurus is a comfort-loving sign (which is a nice way to say -lazy- lol I should know.. I have a Taurus Venus which is the epitome of Taurean laziness romantically.)Virgo is constantly working. A friend of mine is on holidays and staying with me. She has a Virgo Venus/AC. She never ever stops thinking about what needs to be done next. She cannot sit still for 2 minutes. On the other hand Taurus can sit still forever and a day, relaxing in the sun, relaxing in the sea... And just plain relaxing. Virgo does not really know -how to- relax. Taurus can show them. In a perfect scenario they would balance each other out so that Taurus gets more done and faster than usual.. and Virgo learns to lie back and relax sometimes, because it isn't always urgent to work and keep working.
But in order to achieve this kind of balance amicably, you need help from the rest of your synastry. Trined Suns are not everything. A positive aspect between your Venus and their Mercury could be great! IP: Logged |

I forgot to mention that there also seems to be a lot of guilt there. If the Virgo influenced person is not working on something, washing something, cleaning something, helping someone, finishing a work project etc... 90% of their day... They feel guilty.It's almost like they think.. Those things just -are- life.. And they neglect the fact that life is also taking care of themselves and having FUN and doing enjoyable things. Capricorn can have the same problem.
I have both Taurus and Capricorn in my chart.. So I go back and forth between workaholic and lazy lol IP: Logged |

Ahhh... I've been thinking about this my self.. I think I figured it out... (yeah right)For me its Sag's.... I just cant seem to have a decent conversation with Sag men... Pretty much every Sag man I met, I feel they are childish, and into playing games... I sense they just want to use me... I have NEVER dated a Sag men... I could only talk to them once or twice.. Well my Saturn is in Gem.. The opposite sign of Sag... So I want Sag's to be serious, and they just wanna play... I just cant take it from a Sag man... Weird huh... lol... This seems to only play out with Sag Sun's even if they dont touch my Saturn... Sag moon's I'm ok with... Its just that Sag Sun...... Or stellium's in Sag... IP: Logged |

I also have problem with SAG sun sometimes but only just SUN  . MY PR/SA SUN show who. Just now I see I've problem with SAG people who have there sun in 25 degree SAG. My PR/SA SUN 25 degree virgo.IP: Logged |

My progressed moon is in Sag right now... I can dig the Sag moons, but not the Sun's.... Shrug... weird huh?

Virgo can be perfectionists. I don't have virgo in my chart but other earth signs but i do have virgo in a past prenatal chart with prenatal nodes. I hate pooh. Hating pooh pooh seems to be a virgo thing to hate pooh because of extreme cleanness like next to God cleanness etc monk. Virgo are hard workers like Dr Phil Mcgraw and pay attention to detail but they can nit pick and take their own rubbish on others as they don't how to lighten up and have fun. They can be sacrificial victims of their own workaholic tendencies to cover up inferiority issues. But Virgo's with self worth don't need to worry about workaholism sacrificial victim tendencies. Maybe, ask Dr Phil Mcgraw's wife as she is Capricorn and he is Virgo what their marriage is like and what is like to live with a Virgo. IP: Logged |

So I go back and forth between workaholic and lazy lol"Lol I have a Cap Moon and Taurus Venus...and I'd say about 90% of the time...well more like 98% of the time lol I'm my typical lazy Taurus. My mom is a Virgo Rising, and everytime I come home and visit she thows at me lists of all the things I have to do. And she HAS to stay busy all the time. Meanwhile my typical mantra is I'll get to it eventually...but only on my own time haha. "Taurus is a comfort-loving sign (which is a nice way to say -lazy- lol I should know.. I actually don't think it makes me lazy romantically...my Mars is in Cancer but its in the 1st Conjunct my Asc and Sun also in the 1st so I am very proactive romantically and go after what I want head on. Not all Virgos are crazy workaholics and cleanliness freaks. And I dont think that only working, cleaning and washing mean Life to us. And most of the Virgos I know are fun loving people. And yes, we do relax. At least I do. And i daydream also(I bet some people will be shocked or surprised reading this...lol)
But I also have an Aquarius Rising and sometimes I love to bring chaos out of order(not at all virgoan, right?)
So it all depends on the kind of Virgo you meet. Everyone on this planet is unique. Even people belonging to the same sun sign are very different from each other.
I dont like the wrong and often boring perception people have about all virgos. Really people, we do have a life and a good although simple one at that.------------------

I wasn't saying that Virgos have no lives...but I am thinking they are more inclined to work and know what they have to do first...and then get to the fun part. I have an Aqua ex with Virgo Moon and he would swear up and down I was lazy...when I'd just get to things on my own time. Even from his own mouth he hated to be unproductive...and that was his number one reason pot was bad...it made you lazy haha. Even though it made perfect sense to him to get completely drunk from 4 Loko with his friends on a road trip to Charleston, and then sleep it off back to Beaufort in his trunk that the police find him in, or it made sense to set himself on fire. But hey that was his logic haha. This is the Logic my mom has as well. Case in point she's attending college classes because she's retired and is getting her masters for fun...she freaks out over breaks about all that has to be done. Hey Grlygirl, I wasn't replying to your post nor was I replying specifically to the people discussing this topic. I was just saying that most of the people consider Virgos to be All Work & No Play and I just wanted to make it clear that not all virgos are like that.------------------

Well, I admit virgos do take duties very seriously, even I do but not always. Like you I also do the things I need to do on my own time and thats probably why my Virgo/Libra cusp mom thinks i'm very lazy. And I hate to follow routines cause thats so boring. May be this is because of my Aqua asc.------------------

What is this about Virgos being workaholics? I am lazy as hell! Even my Pisces mum thinks that I should stop relaxing and lying around and do something. I am a good and reliable worker if I have to work.
And this is coming from a Virgo sun/asc with virgo mercury and venus...
I think the cleanliness and other things said about Virgos are pretty inaccurate.IP: Logged |

I'm not a typical gung ho Virgo either. Maybe it's my Taurus rising that makes me lazy-haha. Generally when I'm at work, yeah, I'm a little worker bee but the job I have now, business is real slow and you can only clean the same thing over and over so many times a day so I resort to daydreaming quite a bit and when I get too far into that mode when it comes time to do something productive I'm really not feeling it. But when I'm home all I want to do is sit on my ass and after I get supper ready for my son and make sure he's doing what he needs to be doing, that's what I do. I let laundry pile up until I or my son has nothing decent to wear and then I end up doing five loads in one day. Why? Because my laundry room is in the basement and the entrance to the basement is outside around back and I hate to be bothered with going there. And yes, I know it would be less of a chore to do it every other day insted of all at once but I'm a procrastinator as well as lazy. Cleaning. Well, my house isn't trashed or gross but I'm something of a clutter bug. I wait until it starts to bother me and then I go through and get rid of stuff and find out of sight homes for other things. I'm very good at cleaning and organizing when I have the motivation to do it. I can't say I don't get along with other earth signs, I get along with just about anybody but I prefer people who are a bit out there and eccentric. IP: Logged |
