how is it different from the western astrology's scorpio moon.i read somewhere that according to vedic astrology the worst moon sign u can have is scorpio...
why do u think that is...

Cheer up, I get the same rap and I'm born on a Scorpio New Moon conjunct Pluto  It's just an astrological concept. The Moon is exalted in Taurus so in the opposite sign of Scorpio, it is considered to be in its detriment. Basically, it means that the energy of the Moon is not comfortable in this intense sign. However, that does not mean that there is something wrong with having this placement of the Moon. For someone like me, with a New Moon in Scorpio conjunct Pluto and IC in my chart and a NN in the 8th, there is a familiarity with the Plutonian energy. Also, house wise, my moon falls in the 4th house ruled by Cancer(its natural placement) and I have a Cancer Rising so that also modulates my emotional expression. To analyse your Moon indepth, list the following:

is this what u meant???asc is in taurus
Sun is in 1st House.
Moon is in 7th House.
Mercury is in 1st House.
Venus is in 12th House.
Mars is in 2nd House
Jupiter is in 11th House.
Saturn is in 7th House.
Uranus is in 8th House
Neptune is in 8th House.
Pluto is in 6th House. mainly i just want to know if it is simiar to the western scorpio moon though IP: Logged |

Us Scorpio mooners get such a bad rap  I don't agree with everything stated about us but this stood out to me... "...You are a highly sensitive and private person who is also intense and can be quite adept at achieving your goals..." I can definitely relate to this. I'm a pretty private person but I'm also extremely sensitive. I don't like to show those vulnerabilities to just anyone though. Oh, and it also mentioned something about us being straight-forward and frank. This I deinitely am lol. Matter of fact, my mouth kinda sorta got me in trouble this morning at work lol. But anyway, Vedic and Western Scorp moons seem similar to me personally. IP: Logged |

My step daughter has Moon in Scorpio tropical astrology and she's a really good person.
She's very deep,caring, sensitive,moody,very intense emotionally,when she gets upset or angry she'll either "voice her opinion" in a very frank forthright way or she'll get very quiet and brood about it.
Either way it helps to be calm,give her reasons, and give her time.

I do that too. And I also have the sun in Aries.
But I do blow up, sometimes. I also have Moon in the 4th house of Cancer. I don't really know how that impacts me. I think with my Gemini Rising though, kinda makes me an open book, I tend to say too much alot.
I'm pretty sure that Lady GaGa also has the sun in Aries and the Moon in Scorpio. ------------------
