I've always wondered about that! Thanks for asking. I usually just ask someone outright, after we've talked for awhile or if I've known them for some time. We all need to get together to develop a foolproof system for birthtimes. Brainstorm! IP: Logged |

Here's an example:"How old are you?" "Twenty-four." "When do you turn twenty-five?" "August." "Yeah? My mom's birthday is in August. What day in August were you born?" "The twelfth." "That's cool." I usually don't ask someone's time of birth until I've hung out with them a few times, and then I'll just ask point blank, "Do you know what time you were born?" Some people respond immediately and others say, "What? Why?" I'll respond, "Birth times are neat; everyone should know what time they were born!" Usually I'm pretty upfront, though: I study astrology and I wanna look at your chart! IP: Logged |

i'm a leo sun/mer and aries moon - I ask them outright and for the time and place too...most people are programmed to be responsive/helpful and if you catch them off guard they don't have time to think of a lie or even consider their own beliefs...the only thing is if you ask for the time and place and they know anything about astrology they will know for a fact you fancy them IP: Logged |

Facebook is usually my method for getting the birth date Usually if I am interested in someone's astrology, we're fb friends. Not so sure how to get birth time. That's a trick I'd like to learn.IP: Logged |

Depends on who your asking. All my freinds, family give it to me willingly. Coworkers, teachers and aquaintances are more trickier. Facebook is a goodway. Both directly and Indirectly. Of course, you might encouter private accounts or in my case profiles that are practically invisable. There are still ways around it, but at that point theres probably and easier way and you don't want to "hack it". If its only for there birthtime. Other times you'll get lucky or find out by accident. For example I always wondered what one of my coworkers B-Day was. I was at work at my desk "cleaning" out my email requests on my outlook. After the 5th email I find an email that says "xxxx's Lunch Party Cancelled". Automatically, I learn when xxxxx birthday is. Or there might be an office calander shared in your workgroup, with event, plans, goals, etc months in advance including coworker birthdays. Worst case scenario you'll have to be creative in finding information if you know the person will react to you negativly if your asking there birthday for astrological reasons. Finding someons birthday is possible, heck google might even help you depending on what your searching. Birthtime is more or less imposible. ------------------------ Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini venus in Tarrus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

I pretty much directly ask them. If its someone i've just met and they seem to be cool and down to earth etc then i'll straight out ask "whats your star sign?" and then i'll like aarrr your a _____ ! and then they'll be like what are you? and we'll get into a discussion re: our signs and astrology.Otherwise if they dont seem to be that cool and easy going then i'll be like whens your bday? and then there like such and such month and then i'll be like oh yea what day though? and then some people will just ask why? and i'll be like ohh just wanted to know what sign you were and some people wont ask why im asking for their bday info but in return they'll ask for mine.. lol IP: Logged |
