I had a brief relationship with a Virgo man last year. The intellectual rapport was astonishing, but there was a distinct 'push-pull' dynamic between us - fascinating and unsettling in equal measure. We had lots of fun together, a huge amount of interest in each other, and I admired the fact that he possessed a number of qualities I am fully aware I lack (e.g. ability to put ideas into practice!). I sensed I that I could learn a great deal from him, yet there seemed to be some kind of invisible 'block' between us.He was something of a 'closed book', and I had a desire to soften his hard edges, get past his cool facade and shower him with love, but didn't get the demonstrative display of affection I craved. I ended the relationship and he seemed very surprised at the time, but appeared to deal with it in a matter-of-fact way. However, he continues to make contact (including late-night texts), and we then meet up in group situations and spend most of the evening making witty small talk whilst eyeing each other like a pair of wary cats. The fascination with each other still seems alive and well, as does the awkwardness!
A year on, Mr Virgo is still in my thoughts and shows no sign of moving out of my head! Has anyone else experienced this dynamic, or can anyone offer any astrological insight (this is probably Astrology 101, but I'm new to it!) as to why we seem to gravitate back to one another? I still feel there might be some distance left to run with this brilliant but distant man and I'd love to keep him as a friend and move beyond the awkwardness, whatever happens...
