Okay I have a 0 degree moon in cancer. I am constantly emotional and honestly I am sick and tired of it! really sick and tired of it. I am tired of feeling up and down all the time, I am tired of always feeling like I have to "sort" out my feelings, I am always tired of getting my feelings hurt all the freaking time about, idk the news! I know that this is the hand I was dealt and I need to really learn how to deal with it, and I am trying my best to try to work with it and not against it...but I feel like I am losing ground. suggestions? mine is throwing myself in the trash bin and calling it a day. Just saying. help.IP: Logged |

The upcoming eclipse will be conjunct your Moon. You might be feeling that. IP: Logged |

If it makes you fee better.. there are people like me who loove people with cancer moons. It's probably my favorite moon placement and their emotionality literally calms me down and makes me euphoric. One of my soulmates had his moon there and if it weren't for his iraq trauma sending him towards abuse I'd have never left him. I would also do so much to have the intuitiveness of a water moon, but having kundalini I can empathize about the ups and downs. Studying buddhism and the neuroscience into the changes it causes has helped me manage some. If you can handle it, sometimes our greatest challenges in hindsight are our greatest gifts. Many people are suicidal right now. Everyone seems to be stressing a lot. I do believe there are huge opportunities for soul development soon, and that's one of the things that gives me hope. Going through my own depression and researching exhaustively as saturn was transiting my 3rd house while transiting pluto was conjunct mercury/neptune I spent a lot of time trying to keep myself alive as has been nearly a daily thing these last 12 years save for maybe a few months here and there. Going though that here are a few recommendations.. http://www.amazon.com/Joy-Living-Unlocking-Science-Happiness/dp/0307347311/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1291600101&sr=8-1 (70 5 star ratings, 3 4 star ratings, 1 2 star rating.. seriously good) http://www.amazon.com/Places-That-Scare-You-Fearlessness/dp/1590302656/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1291600354&sr=1-1 http://www.amazon.com/Mindful-Way-through-Depression-Unhappiness/dp/1593851286/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1291600390&sr=1-1 (Detailing a home based guide for the MBCT program deveoped at Oxford for combating longstanding chronic depression) Another quick thing is about compassion. There is this thing called the happiness set-point which is the ratio of activity between the left ACC and right ACC in the prefrontal cortex. The left ACC deals with things like compassion, courage, and noticing a conflict (the left prefrontal cortex is in charge of solving a conflict), and the right ACC is anxiety etc. The highest happiness setpoint was discovered in a monk affectionally know as the 'happy geshe' during compassion meditation. We can't say it is causal, but there's a pretty strong correlation . I'll leave it at that for now. My depression is much better than it used to be in general. The only thing I can't make sense of that angers me or brings me down is why god created a soul like mine to have karma like mine in a world like this. It's not a choice I would have wanted, and I can't seem to love myself enough to change the things I need to. I don't know.. IP: Logged |

I hate my Cancer Moon too...it is conjunct my Saturn and my DSC in my 7th house, so I have never had an emotional/Moon experience or romance experience in my life without Saturn involved.IP: Logged |

i prefer to focus on the aspects in my chart...is your moon badly aspected? my pisces moon is square my neptune and opposes my venus - i know how blagghh a harrassed moon can make you feel. it does have it's merits though (more than hardly any) as i'm sure yours does IP: Logged |

oooooo. Not talk about mooon and feelings. My gemini moon not want feel. My gemini moon must feel because my nessus/lovejoy/pfortuna put on my feelings all the time. My gemin mooon also triggs from merk/uran, saturn, Sun/AC/DC. My gemini moon exact in Parallel to my Pluto. My N destinn/psyche trigg my moon almost exact. My gemini moon triggs in conj from Draconic Kaali/merk/uran/pluto.. My draconic moon/nessus conj my N saturn. My N.N ruler are mooon....So If I not feel I be depressed. My moon is also my happiest one. My moon make me feel so good when I listening. Sometimes I also must put me on my arm and ask If it's right to feel so good. If we feel bad the life want to say us something. Seelah. Interesting to see how the Lunar Eclipse will trigg your moon? LE will trigg my venus/NN/mars in the end of gemini and start of cancer. The Solar Eclips in 13 degree capricorn and start, 4 january. Does you have anything in your chart who triggs by SE. Perheps you will see your new beginning in that connection?

I have to say that Moon in Cancer is one of my favourite placements (can't say the same about Cancer Sun though). I find them so open, sweet, helpful, they also make me feel like "everything is OK", they seem to get along great with everybody and make friends easily; now that I think about it, I find them kinda charismatic actually. My Cappy moon makes me very closed about my feelings but Cancer moons are the only ones that make me want to hug them and say "thank you" for nothing at all really.

Aww, Seelah, your post was so cute. Don't throw yourself in a trashcan! Forgive yourself and take a breather and tell yourself that "everything is fine" and you are fine.I have similar issues with Scorpio moon. You can do it!!! ) IP: Logged |

awh thanks guys I noticed I got some aspects to my moon...working with it, though I have to admit, lately it has been a bit more stable than usual this year...like the stability is becoming more common yay me! it's been hard. I finally decided to try life without antidepressiants...though it is harder sometimes, the world has so much more color.IP: Logged |
